Grammarians in the house, please which one is more correct between these two sentences

1.Everybody knows his or her name

This first is more correct.

The second is ambiguous.
It could be taken as " Everyone knows their ( other people's names ) names.
Whereas, you meant " Everyone knows his / her name."
