Some desperate drivers are the reason for this. They re ready to do anything to pay their rent or HP. Na them dey[ pick any rubbish for riders quote author=kanuisagoat post=98959747]

This one don happen to me before grin

Picked one girl who said she wanted to branch at a restaurant. When we got there, she told me to help her go inside to buy fried rice and chicken.

I wanted to insult her but quickly held back. I ended the trip right there, collected my money and left.

Hopefully, the next driver will be willing to help her buy the food. [/quote]

Don't make the discourse look childish

Nobody talked down on automatic transmission. We only corrected the impression that a manual is very difficult car to drive.

It is not difficult as they paint it, but I don't expect you to understand sha

You never drove a manual smiley

Last i checked, this manual and automatic transmission was not about wich one is better to the other in general but the question was which transmission is better for e- hailing.

They keep on insisting that manual is the best for the job meanwhile most of them don’t drive manual, so who is fooling here.

I type and drive most time l, so tell how will that be Possible on manual transmission.

Let’s try to be objective wen making our opinion so that we wont be having uneasy arguments.

Peace.

Alright, it's fine though .....i don't like typing too much and you can't relate....I'll let it slide..... But i won't lie it's paining my heart.....

If it’s still paining you like this, I feel it’s better you get the person that requested for the ride to report to bolt or give you d drivers number.
I’ve had similar experience,
Took a girl from lekki to Surulere on our way her Bobo changed to fadeyi and she told me it’s no more lere and I told her to update the trip, she did and when we got to fadeyi, trip was #4,300.
Na me first shout and she asked why , I told her the fare was too much. She just sighed and said bolt don chup all my money, she did transfer and her bobo was at d window eyeing me with corner eyes maybe na me scam her. Honestly if she had complained I would have done price review cos she was cool throughout d trip. Sometimes d price goes in favor of driver or go south.

Hello FAMS,
I don eventually fall mugu for the "send ur account details" riders.
A lady requested for a ride from Agungi to Lekki phase1 on Sunday and the ride was smooth until the time to make payment.
She promised to send my money as I confirmed Gtbank was misbehaving as I couldn't buy airtime from my bank app too. The good looking devil called Chisom with mobile number 08168675237 has not send the money (#1,200) till now.
I ran a background check and noticed she operates an online kitchen.
Kindly assist me teach the wicked lady a lesson.

Okay talk true. Which one you prefer to use blender or grinding stone?
BLENDER: More faster and modern to use, make things easier.

GRINDING STONE: Lil bit slower and olden, make things a lilttle bit stresfull.

But nothing can beat the natural flavour and deliciousness of a stew milled with grinding stone, blender can never achieve this.

Just like how jollof rice cooked with firewood is more tastier than being cooked with gas.

Wonder why most super tuned sport cars are always manual tranny? It drives better and more powerful.

My personal choice:

GRINDING STONE

FIREWOOD JOLLOF RICE

MANUAL CARS.

If I tell d guy to go fetch water he will do it. I can bet it with u dt another driver will go and buy it and beg her to buy for him. Some Drivers no get shame

If i were the driver and i was being honest to myself and something like this happened to me, i'd count myself very lucky and smile throughout the day

Maybe he was jusy lucky..... I'm cool now though thanks

This is a topic for conversation.

It has happened to me 3 times, but I pardoned one out of the 3 which was 2 months ago and the others were 2 yrs ago, new and naive me.

1st was at the Enyo filling station at 4th round about, after loaning her money, she still have the mind to ask if I can help her get the food, she's tired. Ever since I start dressing well, and add some value to myself, nah see finish they cos all these things.

2nd was stack naked and was coming from over night parol, got to where she was supposed to get food... oga! Abeg you fit help me, Abeg! Nah because of the cloth I wear and I don off my shoe. Me! Open the trunk, get my madam slippers inside the boot for her, she already know the answer to her request grin

3rd: I picked her from Ogba on indriver going to igbo efon, she blessed me with 5k and beg if I can take her back to Ogba wit a stop at Yaba for like 15 mins when she is done? What is my masquerade doing? On our way back we r already flowing like an acquaintance, on getting to Yaba, I told her, I'm going to eat at Whitehouse, incase shes done and I'm no where to b found. She was like wow! Her favourite Amala spot, do I know she has not taken anything outside the food she ate in the morning (6pm now), please get for me and I have this funny facial gesture like for real! And she goes like well! If you like get it, if you like don't, we will still go back to buy mine when am done. So I stayed back in the car playing the tot of not eating again, at least I didnt go and nothing will rest on my conscience, just felt like some things r needless jare... went to eat and got hers as well.

Bros na lie ooh no talk like that ooh... Manual is even faster in everything than automatic.

Manual will overtake faster

Manual can jump a ditch/guilter or a barrier if there's danger.

Manual can tolerate aggressive driving and veeybbad roads

Manual can tolerate abuse

You can driver a manual car with almost no oil in the gearbox

The most important attribute of manual that makes professional drivers like it is that, during overtaking on a one way road manual can do the almost impossible over taking an automatic can't do.

Manual don't understand anything like "my b3 is bad" just push it and the car starts

Manual will move faster from rest than the automatic

Manual can engage its reverse gear without having to breakdown or returning the speed to 0km/hr when danger is sighted, this is one thing automatic can't do lie lie.

You can easily maneuver using a manual car but you can't with automatic.

I can go on an on but let me stop here.

These are most of the reason you see that the danfo drivers tends to be smarter than other motorist its not mainly because they can drive more than other drivers but because of the attributes and abilities of the bus they driver. Just master and see how you will hate driving an automatic car.
U spill out all my mind

E-hailing is not danfo mbok.

Danfo drive a dedicated route all the time
Danfo dont drive 12 hours stretch at a time
Danfo stop at every junction to pick and drop
Danfo don’t use Ac

I can go on and on but please manual is a NO NO fo e-hailing cos wish hand u want take dey operate phone and stick together.

Peace
I don't know why you guys keep on hammering about the phone usage. Do you press it all the time? Don't you have a mount for handfree usage? And still talking about danfo - have you ever tried to drive those buses before?
Let's leave danfo for a second. I traveled by road to Lagos from Kano, the driver that brought us just got back to Kano from Lagos - he just drove off from the arrival park to departure....a manual bus ooh. For those who are familiar with that journey, it takes about 15hrs for a very fast driver.
And people are here castigating manual vehicles as if manuals have not been in vogue and usage for a long time before the arrival of auto
