Bala Mohammed: South-West Doesn’t Want To Accommodate Other Tribes by Nobody: 9:38pm On Feb 11, 2021

The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammed, has said some states in the Southwest region of Nigeria don’t want to accommodate other tribes.

He was reacting to the recent development in some states in the Southwest where herdsmen were asked to leave.

The governor was speaking as a Special Guest of Honour during the launch of the inaugural edition of the Bauchi Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ’s magazine titled “Correspondents’ Watch” on Thursday.

Oyo and Ondo state government have been in the news over their activities to stop herdsmen from using forest reverses in the states.

A controversial Yoruba “activist”, Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, had issued a quit notice to herdsmen accused of sundry crimes in the Ibarapa area of Oyo and enforced same.

Bala Mohammed said: “The west doesn’t want to accommodate other tribes but we are accommodating your tribe in Bauchi.

“We have Yorubas who have stayed in Bauchi for over 150 years.

“Some of them are permanent secretaries in Gombe, Bauchi and Borno.

“If cybercrime is being practised mostly by one tribe, you don’t criminalise the whole tribe because of this.

“That is why you journalist needs to be sensitive and exercise restraint.

“Avoid writing reports that will threaten the unity of this country.”

Just imagine this shitty statement.Have the Fulanis themselves been accommodating to anyone? He is not even condemning the atrocities of his fulani brothers across the nation. An ethnic group that is out on an open ethnic expansion & domination agenda with the support of the government of the day?

Well, being fulani, Gov.Bala Mohammed can only support his kiths & kin who have unleashed unimaginable pain & destruction on other ethnic groups across this failed nation.Imagine the man accusing the same SW that went blindly in its political sophistication to vote in this catastrophe that is plaguing about 200M Nigerians today.

Guess the SW can see now? This should serve as a startling warning to all the southern efulefus in this satanic government that no matter how you try, you can never please these slavemasters.

We have always been too accommodating and failed to draw boundaries between Yorubas and outsiders in our zone and that is what led us to the current situation where other tribes trespass within our region and do things that they CAN never accept from non-indigene in their respective zones.

If we are using a region to benchmark accommodation, the only region that fit into that narrative is the SW. That a Northerner can start lecturing the West about accommodation seems like an aberration to me.

Your Fulani herdsmen are killing people and destroying people livelihood and you expect us not to speak up? Are those Yorubas in your respective states not respecting their boundaries? Did the kill the indigenes and intrude their space? How many times have we even heard of Yorubas committing crimes in the news in those states when compared to how non-indigenes commit crimes in the SW?

When we accommodate you and allow you to assimilate into our folds you call us mugu. When we fail to respond in kind when you trespass your boundaries you call us cowards. Now that we are speaking up that you should desist from killing us, you say we are not accommodating.

Just give it a small time. The SW is already using the media to create the necessary awareness about this herdsmen and I know it’s intentional. We are gathering enough evidence so that when what is planned start they won’t say we killed an ant with a sledge hammer.

Verdict: YES, we are not accommodating and we never wish to henceforth!!!

Let’s see how it goes!

Instead of this man to condemn the Fulani Herdsmen killings, he blames the Southwest for not allowing their people to be slaughtered.

Your people will pack dozens of cattle and graze on another person's land, consuming an entire harvest. If you complain, they kidnap or kill you.

Comprehension and proportionate response is directly proportional to level of education +/- enlightenment {(willingness to learn^2 * quality of advisors ) + log of political correctness +/- nascent desire for political clout}

Ability to understand this abstruse and potentially explosive situation is necessary and related to the above equation.

He didn't lie actually. It is a fact that no other region is as accommodating as the north. It is only in the north that you can buy as much as you want, farm as much as you want, build whatever you like and nobody will ask you for a dime in the name of "touching ground" or "omo onile" etc.

I've never been to the West in my entire life but I can tell the Governor that the people of the west are welcoming and accommodating until you fight them in their own homes....

The PDP governor of Bauchi state is right, we are no longer interested in accommodating criminal herdsmen for obvious reasons. There is nothing wrong with that. Other peace loving Nigerians are welcomed.
