Don't make the discourse look childish

Nobody talked down on automatic transmission. We only corrected the impression that a manual is very difficult car to drive.

It is not difficult as they paint it, but I don't expect you to understand sha

You never drove a manual smiley

Guy...I started driving with a manual car in the 90s and I have driven it on commercial too. I never drove automatic until 2009 or so.

U came into this gist very late, d least u could have done is find out how the topic started before u jump in. That's how intelligent people contribute to discussions.

In case u find it difficult to read, the summary of the gist is driving a manual car for e-hailing in this Lagos. What do u think about it? is it advisable or not? would u do it or not? if u have done it, how was ur experience. Etc
Not whether they are painting manual car red or blue or green. U can now contribute. Thank you.

It has happened to me 3 times, but I pardoned one out of the 3 which was 2 months ago and the others were 2 yrs ago, new and naive me.

1st was at the Enyo filling station at 4th round about, after loaning her money, she still have the mind to ask if I can help her get the food, she's tired. Ever since I start dressing well, and add some value to myself, nah see finish they cos all these things.

2nd was stack naked and was coming from over night parol, got to where she was supposed to get food... oga! Abeg you fit help me, Abeg! Nah because of the cloth I wear and I don off my shoe. Me! Open the trunk, get my madam slippers inside the boot for her, she already know the answer to her request grin

3rd: I picked her from Ogba on indriver going to igbo efon, she blessed me with 5k and beg if I can take her back to Ogba wit a stop at Yaba for like 15 mins when she is done? What is my masquerade doing? On our way back we r already flowing like an acquaintance, on getting to Yaba, I told her, I'm going to eat at Whitehouse, incase shes done and I'm no where to b found. She was like wow! Her favourite Amala spot, do I know she has not taken anything outside the food she ate in the morning (6pm now), please get for me and I have this funny facial gesture like for real! And she goes like well! If you like get it, if you like don't, we will still go back to buy mine when am done. So I stayed back in the car playing the tot of not eating again, at least I didnt go and nothing will rest on my conscience, just felt like some things r needless jare... went to eat and got hers as well.

U for no go chop na...hunger for mama u grin

Brother man what happens to physical contact. Having a meeting and talking about many things we miss about each other.
Technology has aided depression. Most human needs people to talk to assure them of their sanity, but internet has clouded that.

Absolutely yes!

Though I didn't drove then. Started driving in August 2017, drove for almost a month and left it because I was confused. I can't even tell you I knew what I was doing then, till I resumed again in March 2018 and then the gross was still mad like what we have in Oct - December.

Was wonderful meeting Sirdave, Ogunvic back then.

Nawa o. Oversaturation I guess. Thats the thing with we Nigerians.

Back then in 2015, a colleague told me how this POS business was booming in some Northern cities with little to no access to banks.

I briefly thought of going into it but I felt no one will pay commission to withdraw money in the East when there are banks everywhere. How wrong I was.

The moment some people started it and others noticed they were making money, everyone trooped into it.

Today, almost every street has two-three POS shops. Nigerians don scatter the business.

Brother man, blame no one. The situation the country is permits everyone to do what is necessary to stay afloat. Any legal business that brings daily income is always eye catching to an average Nigerian.
No matter how bad a real hustle appears, Nigerians will still key in. We are who we are, survivors.

Pls tell me where to get it I need to have one asap, enough of all these stupid riders kissing at the back seat while I'm driving. So annoying.

Bros just search dash cam on Jumia and you'll get the one of your budget.

You can easily install it yourself and uninstall whenever you feel like.

Very simple to install and uninstall

Hugging, dancing and sweating. Tell me, why won't you contact and spread the virus?
Coming out here to call ppl names as if you've been maintaining social distancing. I still love and respect you though. Just that truth must be told. Just like Buhari, you too have been a bad boy. Take your medications seriously and avoid arguments son. Daddy loves you. Get well soon boy

ermm, this case has been analyzed and the council have seen beyond reasonable doubt that the driver is innocent of all the accusations. This honourable Court have found coker's sister guilty but because of her age, she's forgiven. But Coker007 will be held responsible for wasting this honourable court's time. Also will be held responsible if anything happens to the gentle pilot.
By the power invested in me(if correct), this case is hereby dismissed and the driver acquitted of all charges. Pope191, sprinkle holy water on the accused. Court!!!!

Its good you are concerned. Covid thing is everywhere...

I hv been off the radar since last week. Last Friday was d last tym I worked on d app. Getting better though,

After every trip, if it allows it, wind down all windows n allow fresh air for at least 5 mins.

The bane of this work is that enclosed space one shares with all and sundry.

@Bolded,

What do you think about using that model for rentals. I have done the maths and I doubt any driver will take that offer now.

It depends on u finding a driver that will accept

1. U don't have access to the drivers account now that drivers do uber, Bolt, indriver etc.

2. U cant track Offline trips

3. You as d owner, will provide tollgate fares, parking fees, money for data, call credit, etc

4. It requires a lot of calculation, plus and minus.

So to save urself from d stress, just do flat rate every week anything above that na driver own.

But all things being equal % is almost the same thing with flat rate if u check it well. Cos driver on rental goes home with about 25% of his earnings on d average. Except he is doing indriver alone that doesn't collect commission or he got a lot of good offline trips
