Same capacity, parts are similar. From reviews I think the captain is less noisy and, don't be deceived by its beauty, the captain is rugged.
the captain even looks more rugged

Yes I do. I removed it last night and cleaned the soot debris on it. Still same issue.

I am thinking it might be the oil not enough. Cos when open it, it is not dripping out.

Besides, I just found out that when I wanted to drain the used oil the last time, I did not do it the right way. Instead of unscrewing to allow the oil drain itself underneath, I simply bending thr Gen to allow the oil drain through the opening where the oil is supposed to pass through
how you drain the oil is not a problem i have always bent generators to drain oil.

Do you still use your gen at this voltage or you have increased the frequency?
It shows different readings at different time ranching from 190 to 216 but I don't bother since it carries my things

Fact is you can't get an original 4.5kva gen for less than 170k, let that be your guide. Doesn't mean that those advertised online that are above this amount are original. It's generally not advisable to buy things like this online.

What it the frequency reading? I guess it's less than 50Hz.

Good day house, there's this sumec firman 1800 I bought 4 months ago, I was keeping it on the floor but for like 4 days now I keep it ontop of tire. My little concern now is that it drops very little amount of oil on the floor whenever its on.
What's the cause and possible solution?
Have checked online and some gurus are saying that it's 'underload'... I use 4 100 wax bolb, 650 ups, television, home theater, laptop, fan and phone charger.. what's the possible cause?
I have tighten lose nuts still the oil is dropping small

There's a little button just below the LED. If you press it, it changes between Voltage, Run time and frequency.

Bro switch to energy saving bolbs, those 5, 10 or 15watts type. 100watts x4 = 400watts already, plus your other appliances, you are killing that small gen ooh...

Sir Gptech what is the implication of this 50Hz and 60Hz running power?

Please guys, I need advice on gen to buy, load requirements are 2 ceiling fan 2 energy saving bulbs and led TV and PS4.

I am looking for something small and very low fuel consumption (in the 'I better pass my neighbour category).

Its generally advisable for running generators not below 50HZ especially when you are going to use it to power heavy loads according to some experts.

Thanks, i finally got the TEC bobo 2200w. They didn't have the captain, so i opted for this. I was told it is 2.5kva but its 2000/2200w is written on the body. Is it truly 2.5kva as the Thermocool retailer said? I bought it for #117,700.

Actual power which is in watts is kva×power factor. Power factor is usually less than 1. There's nothing wrong.

Don't have any idea but I don't think your battery is supposed to run down when not in use except maybe you don't use it for several weeks at a stretch.

I think you should adjust the speed screen to make it be at least 50Hz, especially if you are going to use it for heavy work like for powering a water pump.

Hello everyone, please I want to confirm the name on the small tec generator. Is it "recoil series junior max 1500ms" or "recoil series junior 1500ms" ? Because I went to a thermocool store in festac and the name I saw there was " "recoil series junior 1500ms". Are they two different generators or the same. Thank you.
