Imagine Hoodlum protesters setting a police man on fire with tyre around his neck, stoning their vehicles and burning their stations. These guys are really angry

As much as I don't support the government, the situation is hopeless and the protest is needless as well. It's not even about the youth now, but everyone, things are really hard, folks r getting salary cut or sacked, cost of living is sky rocketing, 1k is like 100 naira and our leaders can't seem to be of any help. Outside the protest, didnt we all enjoy how easy it is to pass thro Ozumba? Can't they figure out a better way to raise this LCC money and how long will it even take to service the LCC contract? These people are not being honest in their dealings and as for the police, they are devil undercover, I just try to avoid them, I've been doing so many stupid funny things lately... each time I notice police or V.I.O will b on a certain road, I just take my turn and use alternative route, presently going thro trust issue grin I don't trust them.

Don't I have right to turn again? They saw I wasnt panicking or move by dia tricks, they just let me go. Too many crazy touts on Lagos road.

Hope you didn't leave the compressor the AC technician condemned with him? I'm not sure a bad compressor can cause your car to over heat.

Hello there, someone please help me, I’ve uploaded my insurance document policy on Uber like 10 times, and they keep rejecting me.

Please how do I go about it? Please HeLP!!!

Cross check your insurance policy number on NIID site. If the number on your insurance paper is not same with NIID, Uber can reject it because of that. And if that is the case, contact your insurance company.

Brothers in the house please please and please always ensure u don’t pick up riders at the airport no matter wat o cos u will be clamped.

I took a rider to local airport then d rider paid and as i was about zooming of he called me that it’s the domestic he was suppose to go, so as he was putting his luggage back in the trunk then and there i didn’t know how my tires were clamped immediately despite the fact i was looking at the 3 mirrors.

My heart just skipped like person where lost him phone inside damfo bus. Dis was 8am on Monday morning oo, so as they were calling for backup, God in Heaven com minister to them with enough pleading and begging i was released.

So please take note of the first paragraph. And whenever u taking a rider to the airport, be it local or especially international and the rider wants to pick up someone at the arrivals, so telling you to drop him or her at the arrivals, please and please don’t. Just drop the person at the departure and let him or her walk down to the arrivals else u are tempting your Faith in God. Those guys no wan use eyes see us at all at all.

And if u want to pickup riders, let the riders come and meet you at the car park.

Peace

Thank God for you bro...only MM2 has pick up and drop off in the same area. For MM1 (Arik side) and International, pickup is strictly inside the car park only. Except u have police escort or u r military. Some riders will be saying "but they are picking people here now" just tell them its d new bolt/uber policy. and if its bolt inform them they will be paying extra 500/400 for d car park fees. That's to cover u in case the money is not automatically added at the end of the trip.

Small work plenty money this year IJN

Not to make you doubt ur technician.. But what convinced you that your compressor was gone.?

I had an experience, weeks back, the Ac was not blowing....

I used my layman knowledge of AC N its parts, I opened the hood of car, start engine, put on ac, everything seemed fine, fan was working... Coolant intact.

... but I noticed the compressor wasn't rolling, yeah the belt was rolling quite all right, but compressor was not working.

Now the same issue happened like a year earlier, where the AC expert @ Ogba said the compressor was gone.... Where the compressor was changed.. N all...

So fast forward, I concluded too that the compressor was bad even without going based on the signs...

On Monday, instead of going to Ogba, I went to a young AC chap who helps me if I need to top up the gas...

Dude brought his guage n all, told me it wasn't gas, I said I know grin, that it's compressor.

Dude said no.. That my compressor is good... Said it was a swtich/ relay that's not bringing power to the compressor.

Guy fixed it, n AC jumped back to how it's been working.

My epistle is... I believe if I had gone to Ogba, the supposed AC expert will Def condemn the compressor, making the work look so big so that he can justify the charges.... I'm glad I had a rethink that day.

The more you know about the vehicle the safer you will be. Run a VIN check and verify critical facts you need to buy a used car with confidence. Check the title status, previous odometer readings and the current market of the vehicle. Do as many checks as possible to ensure you are getting a legitimate offer.

Nawa o. Oversaturation I guess. Thats the thing with we Nigerians.

Back then in 2015, a colleague told me how this POS business was booming in some Northern cities with little to no access to banks.

I briefly thought of going into it but I felt no one will pay commission to withdraw money in the East when there are banks everywhere. How wrong I was.

The moment some people started it and others noticed they were making money, everyone trooped into it.

Today, almost every street has two-three POS shops. Nigerians don scatter the business.

It has not scattered.

CBN in cahoots with the commercial banks has done an unofficial policy shift to defund ATMs and push cash withdrawals to POS agents. Notice how you get to a bank with 10 machines and only two have cash inside?

They want you to patronize the agents and pay more, N200 for N10,000 as opposed to N32.50, or free withdrawal if it's your own bank. Less cash handling charges for the bank, more income for all of them doing the business together.

POS business will continue to boom, but it will become more risky as the economy gets more constricted by Buhari's ineptitude and desperados start robbing the agents at gunpoint. Such robberies have already started happening within the less secure communities down south...
