Good morning all,

Has anyone been scheduled for immigrant visa interview in Lagos in recent times? Is the embassy even working?
it would be nice to know.
This thread has been awfully quiet and not so much information as there used to be.

Yes! Ir1, Ir2 and Cr1, cr2 are all getting interviewed. And those cancelled interview appointments are rescheduled. Those in labor ban P10014 will have to wait till the ban is lifted

The original poster can't claim single when she is not. Drop this Naija way! There is a consequence. She knows this now that extra more years will be involved. Just be happily married sis and F3 IS A DOWNGRADE NOT AN UPGRADE WRT MORE WAIT-TIMES.
Again, she is forcing her mom to naturalize in order to have her moved to F3. I maintain, her mom will only inform USCIS of her naturalization and provide the required documents. She won't be reapplying or refiling for her married daughter.

Im a he. Plus my mum is still an LPR holder not USC.

No please, take your international passport and photocopy, plus two passport photographs and go to Alagbon, it costs about 3-5k.

Please can anyone advise me on what next to do. Since last year, this status is what I kept seeing anytime I check my Aunty's immigrant visa status. The Case update kept on changing. The last time I checked it before today, the Case Last Updated was April last year and I checked it today it is showing November last year. What do I do my wonderful friends?

Hello , AOS posted on NVC and DQ since a year.

However, the copy of the AOS is Missing.

What can I do?

Should my sponsor fill and sign another one for me to carry to interview?

Thank you

What do you mean missing? You mean your sponsor has misplaced the AOS ? If that’s what you mean, you don’t have any issue, since you’ve already submitted it on the nvc and got DQ. You’ll not be needing it on your interview. However if the AOS you submitted has expired, tell your sponsor to download the current one and fill it out. Then they will scan it to you, you’ll need it on your interview. (You only bring current AOS form to interview if and only if the previous one you fill has expired; if it has not, there’s no need for it )

Nothing to do. If your Aunty is under the ban category, she’ll have to wait till the ban is lifted

Please I need an advice on what to do next, my visa category is ir1 and I got interviewed in 2019 but was found inadmissible due to previous issues and was advised to seek a waiver which I got earlier this year, and I was notified the decision has been sent to Lagos and that I should contact the embassy for further questioning about visa issuance. Do I need to schedule visa appointment myself or do I need to wait for Lagos embassy to contact me on that

You mean F2b is under P10014 ban?
Bros! Am not sure of that. You can go back and review the P10014 ban proclamation.
