NO!
Just make sure you're having all related documents/your marriage papers with you and a copy of the "Commitment Declaration" (verpflichtungserklärung) except your spouse whose based in Europe is traveling with you because the German police are very strict to the last detail.
A copy of your spouse identification / passport will be a wise decision to take with you when you arrive in Germany.

Once you land in Germany with a valid visa, nobody will disturb you at the port of entry. Just keep you passport and marriage cert. which i don't think they will request for. Good luck.

My spouse is awaiting her visa appointment date at the embassy for Family Reunion. I am studying on a scholarship and have done my city registration. During the city registration, they said because my certificate was not with me, they indicated I am "single". We have received a support letter from the scholarship body to aid her application but I would like to know what I have to do from here to Fastrack her visa application.

I actually registered with the Goethe institute in Lagos, no date was given to me and I wasn’t sure what would happen, so I left Nigeria to take the exam in Istanbul

Hi, my wife got an appointment for March 10 to join me here in Germany. I am studying on a scholarship and we got a support letter from the scholarship body already.

Is the payment of 150k for document verification compulsory for everyone? Although when I was leaving Nigeria, the embassy collected my Marriage certificate during my application and gave it back to me when I got my original documents. Also, what are the documents they could be verifying for my wife?

Is there anything I need to do here in Germany to fast-track her processes?

At the moment, I have done my residence permit but I have not received my card, my visa is still valid till the end of March and I have the temporary resident permit given to me at the immigration office, can my wife use the temporary residence permit for her application?
