Oga LCC turned off the lights. LCC was an accomplice to the murdernid Nigerian youths on the 20th Oct, 2020. I was at the scene the following morning. Cleaning company was already there, cleaning the whole place . They swept and washed off the evidences as far as I am concern. Do not be an LCC apologist here please.

Tinubu has never been an open person. Never. Not for a single day, he runs everything he does with his cultists inclined ideologies. Which is why since 22 years now the state records of Lagos has continually been blocked inspite of FOI bills and petitions of inquiry to open her books

It's a Mafia organization they run.
Even the Mafia is more open than Lagos state Tinubu PLC.

Don't mind the clowns, look at the small amount that they are claiming is taking them almost a decade to repay since 2011. Tell them to publish the audited financials by one of the Big 4 accounting firms and they will refuse.

It is not a public company therefore it's not under obligation to publish its financial statements

Ekuke

Before you curse him how many of your prayers have answered.

He made sound economic points that begs for sound intellectual response. If the balance left to be paid is truly 50 billion, if Lagos absorbs it, and spreads the payment across for example 120 months, 250 Million Naira could be used to service the repayments which is a tiny sum out of the IGR the state generates. Like you slaves aren't aware the multiple taxation Nigerians pay is extremely high. From direct tax deductions from bank accounts they are about to initiate, to car park indiscriminate taxes, to service rendering, to hike in commodities like petrol to electricity and high cost of locally produced demands, you don't see clearly Nigerians are been overburdened with too much loads your emperors put on people's backs.

Once Nigerians hear tollgate, they say Tinubu. Not knowing this is a private Enterprise too. Personally, i think one of the tollgates has to go. So its not like dual exploitation

Let us agree that someone owns the toll gate: the total sum incured in constructing the road is enormous and will be eager to be recouped. So even if it is Tinubu, he is entitled to return on his investments. It is a bad sign and can drive away investors if the attitude is to destroy something that belongs to somebody. Unfortunately the investors must know a Nigerian who is to be at the forefront. The only hindrance is the military attack and death of harmless people.

The same company that removed camera before the shooting also failed to produce complete footage of the shooting according to you. So, why are you confusing yourself? Choose one and stick to it.

Anyway, the camera that was removed was a led camera used to capture plate numbers and not CCTV.

So if you’re the governor of Lagos state, you will close down a toll gate with the ability to pay off its loan and take over billions of debt simply because of a shooting incident? Do you even know the amount of debt the state government is currently servicing? With this your kind of business and administrative sense, I pray you never become the governor of any state in Nigeria.

You are wrong. LCC is owned by Tinubu & his greedy self-serving cronies. Take for example - one of the advertising companies mentioned above (Loatsad Promo media Ltd) is owned by Seyi Tinubu. You can Google it.

Therefore, we insist, that in the memories of those slained at the Lekki Toll Plaza during the End Sars Protest, the Lekki Toll Plaza and the Tinubu-owned LCC should remain shut indefinitely.

He gave the names of the outdoor advertising agencies as E-Motion Advertising Ltd, Prodigy Advertising Ltd, Loatsad Promo media Ltd, and Eye Kontact Ltd. While these companies actually pay LCC for the use of its advertising platforms, some purveyors of fake news have again gone to town to misinform the public that LCC pays one of these companies and claim he described as totally false.

Yes they are. I've provided critical objections and information on how much they make and like I did on this thread made it clear to all and sundry that the emperor uses the fund to stage political wars and not even to the best interests of his clans as he projects. Sadly, cause I'm not of his tribe it's viewed as ethnic attacks. If I publish the records of what is accrued from that tool again as I've done before now publicly his own people would tear him apart. If the 100 billion for example spent on 2011 politicking and other such guerilla wars he spends money on is channeled into his region, they will have tangible things on ground. Osun needs that money, Ekiti can make use of it, Ondo can make use of it.

Be it Tinubu or anyone from my clan, and even Dangote I've always detested the idea of an individual gulping resources meant for a million

But woe betide me. I hate him and his tribe and I want them to fall is the spears they wield and aim at us for standing up for correctness

To the ones who would come to call me names. To me great grand generation there's Oil in atleast 3 of my family lines I didn't go for a single kobo and work my way through life. So I know what truthfulness means and I'm not attacking Tinubu nor his interests but dare to say his an hypocrite and a chronic occult that doesn't present his true self to his people and would rather kill his people for selfish ambition. Alas Old age and weariness knocks on the door
May God bless you bro.

Why we terminated Lekki-Epe deal with LCC – LASG

ON AUGUST 29, 201312:26 AMIN NEWS

By Olasunkanmi Akoni & Monsur Olowoopejo

LAGOS — Lagos State Government, yesterday, said it terminated its concession agreement with Lekki Concession Company, LCC, the concessionaire handling the 49.63 kilometer Eti-Osa-Lekki-Epe Expressway, “to save motorists from paying exorbitant toll tariff on the ever busy road.”

This came as it announced that the last phase of N87.5 billion out of the N275 billion fixed rate bond would be out for prospective investors in the fourth quarter of the year, to finance the acquisition right and take control of the toll regime on the road.

The termination came seven years after the commencement of the 30-year agreement between the state government and LCC, for the upgrade, expansion and maintenance of the road estimated to gulp N50 billion.

It will be recalled that the state House of Assembly had, on Tuesday, at a special plenary session, approved N7.5 billion supplementary budget to accelerate the transfer of ownership of the road to the state, leaving the state with wider policy option with regards to that important road infrastructure.

Reason for govt’s action

Giving the reason for government’s action, Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi, said: “As provided for in the concession agreement between the parties, the concessionaire, (LCC) can increase the toll tariff based on the inflation rate in the country, among other things every quarter. The risk is that when an agreement was reached between two parties to negotiate on a contract, whatever the year, one cannot envisage the entire challenge that will arise later. The dynamics of the Lekki project did not envisage that there would be devaluation of the country’s currency, between 2008 and 2013 from N118 to N160. This impacted on their cost which they will attempt to pass to the common man on the street, because of the inflation adjustment.

“For instance, if the state government had not come up with this plan last July, the concessionaire would have increased the toll fee for cars from N120 to N144 while drivers of SUVs will have to part with N180 as against the N150 cost they are still enjoying. This is because the concessionaire would have added 20 percent. The government felt that this would be difficult to push to the residents at this time. And of course, at every anniversary, it was meant to go up by the inflation rate plus five percent. And we should not forget that this is the first Public Private Partnership, PPP, agreement reached by the state government.”

On N85.5bn bond

The commissioner said “Our application has been filed with Security Exchange Commission, SEC, and other aspects have been handled. Our best estimation is that by the early fourth quarter of this year, we will be able to access the cash from the transaction. Out of the bond issuance of N275 billion, the state government has issued three series of the bond totaling N187.5 billion.”
