While I was in college some of my black friends dated white girls and later married them. A few dated black girls. Fast forward several years later, the guys that married whites are more successful, on average, than those that married black women. Go figure.

Its when a college educated man goes for someone below his intellectual level be it white or black, that trouble may brew at some point, except if narcissistic. This tends to be the template for most black/black relationships as the lady's willingness to be a housewife and not better herself, is soon seen as unattractive. On the other hand, the career focused black girls are seen as very aggressive and not marriage-suitable.

At a certain social/ academic level in most communities, its less colour, but more the social class of the woman, that becomes the deciding factor. Its a sad fact that most women in the preferred social class tend to be of a certain colour.
