No be u won do competition?

Before you stand to do competition with a man that has 2kids, a wife and an age mother to look after first go have a baby and try baby sitting for just 6months, buy pampers, baby food, sucks, wiper, medicine and then make sure you wake up at night to assist the mother then resume work at 8am.

If you succeed in this for just 6months then come I'll dash you 100k.

Ru bish!
felicity, please delete this post. it's too deep. I'm not in support of this

Bolt's system of forcing drivers to take all trips, setting fares and wait time policy has made hs created riders with very nasty attitude. I suspect these same riders will use indriver and behave like normal human being. Let me cite specific behaviours:

- insisting a driver takes a particular route because its their money (on indriver I notice they plead not demand, and I have almost always turned it down by simply telling them it distorts the pricing arrangement)

-insisting driver makes several stops and even wait a particular time (also because they believe the N10 per min charge is adequate compensation for waiting). I have never experienced this in almost 1 year on indriver, I experienced it every week on bolt .

-accusing drivers of being fraudulent for taking a particular route or because of the eventual fare charge. Na this one dey pain me pass because some of them are not up to my subordinate at work and I could honestly have waived the fare if they had asked

-asking drivers to run errands for riders intrip
am on a 7mins trip now from maryland crescent to cakes and cream opebi I don wait tire she didn't even tell me am gonna wait ooo..feels it's the right thing

I will turn down such offer with great humility.

I can work with anybody but not with somebody that has trust issues. Even when you're doing the right thing they suspect you and even call you a thief. Build a house working for them for 30yrs they'll say you stole from them to build the house forgettimg the years you've worked so hard to earn a living.

They don't appreciate a thing
They don't wish you well
They don't ever want you to grow.
They complain about almost everything and everybody.
They're never satisfied with anything.
Only their opinions matters, kick against it, you're in for a serious war.

Only God can deliver an employee from such people.

Una too like trouble for this thread.

IFSHR, u sabi book, abi u sabi law pass UK supreme court? Can u freely and boldly say u r independent in this relationship with e-hailing coys?? I doubt that. Upon all the restrictions and regulations they can't provide us with the basic things like HMO, insurance, safety, security, representation in police cases, loans etc. They reduce fares without considering us, making us work like elephants and eat like ants, how can u stress urself, risk ur life like this from morning till night and u can't boast of 10k. So the UK drivers took them to court for those reasons and the only way to make them responsible for drivers is to claim that drivers are technically employees of the e-hailing coys.

It may redefine the operations, but I think it's a good step, if u want to control me and force me to give ur customers good service then I need to be compensated for it. They should pay us global minimum wage ($8/hr), and set any conditions of work thy like, even take all the trip earnings. I like that one. I will not select trip and I will give excellent customer service to anybody that enters my car.

They know what is obtainable. Uber has selected me alongside a few other drivers on two different occasions to chauffeur home guest after an Intl Uber event. Within just 2hrs, drop off your rider and come back and pick again until the two hrs are over, If its a long trip then u continue your work after u drop the rider. Guess what? They paid us 8k for just 2hrs work, we still got paid for the trips plus bonus for the number of trips u do within the 2hrs time frame. That's d way it should be, for all d stress and wahala, there should be a guaranteed income for being online and driving around looking for trips for them and fulfilling it with "yes sir" and "yes ma"

If Uber/Bolt pays u even 4k guaranteed for every hour u work, and somebody comes to say u should leave e-hailing and go and do farming or agent, u no go slap am grin That means 32k a day for 8hrs of work. Omo over dignity go dey Uber drivers work.

Just reading it here.

I think its a good thing. I never used uber but my short experience on bolt, I can draw the same conclusion. For my sanity I had to delete the app, beyond the fact that it was(is) pushing drivers to slavery, it was empowering riders to treat drivers like shit.

On indriver, I have experienced even 5% of the bullshit riders tried with me on bolt and I guess its because they indriver arrangement creates a more independent arrangemnt for drivers.

Now, do you even know that my Uber account that was blocked was simply because I cancelled a ride on one little girl I'd waited for almost 25min? I communicated my arrival and waiting to her 2 good times "I'm coming down" was all I got each time. Just a story building apartment ooo... I was about driving out and she opened the door and entered and said let's go without even saying sorry. I had to walk her stupid ass outta my car.

The next day I received a mail and that was final.

In almost 1 year of indriver and not taking 1/10th of the shit some riders attempted to try with me while I used bolt.

Also, my bolt rating was always round 4.3-4.5 largely because many riders knew they punitive way the rating works and take advantage of it to "punish drivers". Imagine being on 4.6 and one single rider with nasty attitude still rewards your tolerance and patience by sending it to 4.4.

I salute drivers on bolt, youve got to hve a very thick skin

Bolt and Uber don't pay you wages but who decides how much you collect per trip? If you're self employed you should be able to choose how much you want for any trip. Forget how the system is structured, they're still the ones paying the wages, for instance if it's card trips a driver did for a whole week, at the end of the week his net would be calculated and paid to him the following week.

As for the dru and feli illustration, the platform is still feli's employer. Dru's business is with feli. He doesn't and shouldn't care whether feli is driving for bolt or uber or even offline, make him own money sha complete as at when due.

Nothing is wrong with the post..... We human beings like myself tend to make excuses for our failures..... We blame others and make excuses for our failures not to achieve our goals.... He is not the only 1 with kids and family and aging family etc ......

My currant driver best driver has three kids and he is about 30yrs old .. He is responsible guy, he does not call me for anything.. He does his job and makes mine life easier... And he has never been blocked from any app. We are in talks to for him to manage my fleets down the line. He is a good candidate for it ........

Another thing is that having kids or babies etc is by choice.. If u decide to have kids that is ur choice and responsibility not mine.. When he was busy enjoying his wife and making babies I was not invited to party

Now that responsibility has arrived he is looking for hand out. Let am supposed to pity him coz he has kids or am supposed to take his family into consideration when transacting business with him etc ......

So honestly I am not offended at all .. It is a cold world out here bro....... It is not my job or care to be responsible for ur personal issues.....

Bro try and create you own app..make it free for all.

But somebody wrote the Indriver app and it has been free for heaven knows how long.

Facebook, Twitter, even the emails you, I and every other people and organisation use was written by somebody and you're not paying any commission to use these app apart from downloading. The Uber app can also serve same purpose while they look for other means to raise revenue for themselves then they can say drivers are independent workers under their platform and not when you're collecting commissions, declaring profit every year yet you dont have a single staff. What kind of scam is that?

Its because we live in a dark World over here in Africa thats why we no one can wakeup to see the wickedness of the wicked going on in this continent and in Nigeria. But Americans knows light and can distinguish it from darkness that's why you see them doimg things right.

All this while you've been in support but we're blind to seeing how deep his st*pid challenge meant or deep, only one person able to understand it and called him to caution yet he kept parading himself without any form of remorse or retrace eben when I kept my cool by speaking in parables and quoting examples.

grin boss b calming down, I can relate, it's normal to celebrate wins most especially when u grow wearin footwear wit holes or suede polished to leather, but needless they say, not all clothes r meant to b expose out- rightly in the sun, some information is better left in the heart of the wisher. Stories in life can b in two ways, feeding the ego or charge for motivation to others, but u know the story of when things get too much, mostly it leads to casting.

Let me tell u a story I told a friend who was able to secure a job at the bank after service. Everyday pictures in the office "morning tea" "stressful meeting" "crazy coworker"... we r close like d intention was for us to date, but didn't get to complete that, so I talk to her with pure heart. I have to call her to reduce the number of pictures and info she puts online, I don't like to concern myself with people activities online, but I shoulder her responsibility and so it's in my place to look out for her.... told her if she's aware she have great number of peeps seeking for job sitting at home with frustration all over them? Is she trying to bless dia morning or add more to dia sorrow? Does she know the number of people that has been sacked and can't take such picture again, but after 10 yrs, now back to zero, thinking out dia lives? She mallow on that and get the real gist yrs after, sacked last year during covid, no kobo in account. Now she have a new stressful job with better pay, but no one knows how the desk of her office looks like. So boss in a brother way, don't count ur eggs...

I'm not a fan of this myth, but somwot I struggled with it, which is things get more complicated the more one reveal his or her next plan. How true is dis? I was the one that said I was going to get a matrix last month, but seems like I'm not doing again, not that I don't have the cash, maybe it's one of those things of letting d cat of out the bag.

Lastly I feel it aid if one have this in mind, one treasure is another man's trash, all d savings you use 20/30/40 something years of ur life to gather is what one stupid nonsense arrogant small boy O, use to blow drinks in quilox grin this life no just fair, let's just b grateful.

Nice one pope. You re on point, No doubt. But I realised long time ago that there is power in my tongue. The more I say it. The angels assigned to me by God brings it to pass. Is good to keep your next plan secret. But I ain't made that way. It doesn't work for me. I still remember when I started ehailing newly. Most of my friends were car owner with white collar jobs. The kind attitude and look down i received from them was dehumanizing. If not that I am strong will and tough mentally I would have chickened out. I used tell them back then very soon I will buy my car with boldness and confidence. They new I wasn't the owner of the car i was driving then. Now is me they run to whenever they are broke. And my Car is more expensive than what they drive. Bro nah faith talk with power I dey do, i have always remained unstoppable whenever i speak. If i compare my life as of 3years ago and now there is a huge difference. And it is because I always speak and it manifest
