I don't think this is a disease but lack of the proper soil nutrient..

Run a test on the soil to confirm whatsup..

That soil is sick and needs to be treated, most times it might not be a disease, this normally happens when there is a change in weather conditions, you need to know the soil's ph.... increase in the acidic or alkaline contents in the soil changes the entire soil composition and thus results in retarded and stunted growth of crops....if you have a ph scale or have access to an expert he will be there on ground to feel it's molecular structure and rate of permeability...soil science is technical and requires close monitoring...an acidic soil reacts with excess water, and the level of nitrogen in the soil is limited also... strong soil alkalinity is equally not encouraging for crops, it has its effects...
From the picture I have seen about your garden, you need to know the ph level of the soil.
Also don't rush into applying fertilizers or manure to the farm first, disregard any one encouraging you to do that, you need to know if the soil's ph level first if not the damage will continue...most manure contain higher proportion of alkaline and acidic contents, depending on the manure, fertilizers are mostly acidic, so ignorant of the soil's ph level will ruin every of your farming prowess and damaging your crops...
If the soil's ph is okay, then it's likely to be a soil disease, this is where your tenacity will be tested if you love farming because you will spend some money to get the right soil doctor or information on how to go about treating the soil from diseases and pest.

Abnormal yellowing of leaf tissue is called chlorosis. Leaves lack the essential green pigment chlorophyll. Possible causes include poor drainage, damaged roots, compacted roots, high soil pH, and nutrient deficiencies in the plant . Usually, the reason for the yellow pumpkin leaves has to do with lack of water, weather that has been too hot, nutrient deficiency or other stresses.

Solution
If the soil ph is acidic ...then you have to improve it by adding lime ...

If the problem is nutrient related ...then add recommended fertilizer

Ensure proper irrigation

Finally if it is pest related ....I will advice you look for enough dongoyaro leaf ...crush it and allow it ferment to the next day ...you may add garlic to it and use it as pesticide to fumigate your farm

Irrigation on the day before a predicted frost provides additional moisture in the soil to increase the amount of heat given off as infrared rays. This extra heat protects the plants from frost injury. A continuous supply of water provided by sprinkler irrigation may also protect plants from frost

alright thanks. I don't think its nutrient related because I applied organic manure on the soil before planting the seeds

Op
-The irrigation is good, the veggies will bounce back.
-Just be mindful of water medium you use for the irrigation,
-Also add compost to hasten the growth(i.e if you've used the land severally without practicing crop rotation.
-For the birds, make a scarecrow to scare them off.
Good luck
Alright thanks, I don't slack in provision of irrigation on the garden

There are parasites eating your vegetables and they wouldn’t stop. Try and fumigate the area and environment and wet the vegetables regular. There is a particular fumigating chemical that will not spoil or destroy your vegetables but kill only the parasite once the perceive it.
if u can help with the name of the chemical, I will appreciate. While I still try to get the soil tested

Hmmm... Oga boss.

The only contribution I have for you is to find alternative means of irrigation. You are a major contributor to what you are experiencing. Your fluted pumpkin is infected likewise, your tomato plants. You are also helping spread faster by showering the whole garden overhead.

Quick one:
1. Where did you get the seeds?
2. What irrigation method are you using?
3. Are you growing organically or employ the use of chemicals?

Let's stop here for now.

Las las, na to discard everything and start afresh. (My opinion though)
1. Got the seeds from my previous farm
2. Irrigation method is water sprinkling using host
3. I used organic manure
Your opinion well noted

Get some ash and apply generously on the leaves.

Re: My Vegetable Garden Is Under Attack: Help by bigtt76(f): 5:02pm On Feb 21, 2021
I support this. The attack is from tiny white flies which lay their eggs behind the leaves and when the larvae hatches, it crawls around the leaves curling and destroying them. If you can, use detergent organic spray and wash them off the leaves to kill them.

I suffered same loss during the lockdown when I tried planting scent leaves ...they first came out fine and later on the attack destroyed them. I would advise you burn off everything and use the ash to till the soil before replanting. It might help to kill off any white fly larvae or eggs in the soil.

At first I thought it was the fulani herdsmen and their animals but after I red the thread I see that it's different thing.

You will need to make a ridges for the farm, til the ground and a paste control.

Farm people old help a brother oo

Hahaha is there anything like suffocating of plants with water?

Yes nah.

There are plants that don't require much water. There are plants that don't grow under hot conditions.

Many things are wrong with your garden.

I guess this is pepper. Habanero? If not which plant is it? Fluted pumpkin
Do you notice some yellow spots on the leaves?.maybe they are just beginning to show yellow spots and then dark spots around it or at the center of the yellow spots? As they are germinating, they leaves are being destroyed by the infection. Describe it very well.....dont just talk about the wilt. Get a closer view picture of the plants.
Is it the only plant you have in your garden? Thats the only plant in the garden for now
What is the name of the variety you cultivated? Fluted pumpkin If you have the picture of the pack, send it here.
Or did you just pick seeds from the market or from bins? Lol. The seed is from my garden of last year

I always appreciate people with gardens. But doing it well is what they dont know. And they dont want to spend. Just one time cost..spend well and make your garden highly productive.

It is exactly what I think. Bro, habanero and fluted pumpkin have the same issue like this. Neither is it irrigation nor ph or majorly nutrient deficiency. I have trouble shooted exact same with someone previously. This is caused by environmental and soil disease.

Bro, this set is dead. Remove all.
Get manure and use in your soil very well.
You do not need any destructive chemicals. What you need is crop mixed farming for your garden (small scale). If it's a huge farm, it's another strategy.

Cultivate the following: Fluted Pumpkin, corn, and herbs like basil. If you can get onion, have them around your farm too. It is bye bye to that disease. Always make sure you have the above crops on your farm simultaneously, all times. For good 1 year consecutively or two. You can then do mono habanero or fluted pumpkin afterwards. Bro, try to above and give testimony later. After 3 months of the following crops and you see the disease, return here and let me know. And if it works, share your experience. As soon as I saw the wilt, I know what it is. That disease destroyed 1 ha habanero I had. It crashed 2 ha fluted pumpkin of a friend till I found the commercial solution too. But I have given you the cheap solution for garden

God bless!
