It's not just the South West.
Their votes are always massively divided because there is a large population of visitors in the region.
The PDP became useless and lost grip of north central; the states were owing civil servants' salaries for months, forgetting that elections were imminent.
So, it was game over for the PDP when Christian-dominated states like Benue voted for the APC in both state and presidential elections.

@Jerryherd, I think Donald Duke, Peter Obi, Yemi Osinbajo and Dave Umahi have good portfolios and track records.

Amaechi is Buhari's best minister and did an awesome job as Rivers governor, but he's a tout. Fashola did a good job in Lagos, but he's non-existent now. So, I cannot include those two.

Sometimes, it is not about portfolio but values and reputation. Those names I listed have relatively good portfolios and decent values. Tinubu seems to carry a lot of baggage. He can still be playing an advisory role.

I think the APC best bet is Amaechi.
and I believe buhari would give Amaechi/elrufai his blessings that that political olosho Dogara( tinubu planned VP).

just like tinubu, Amaechi invested massively in the APC road to power, and unlike tinubu, he's not been rewarded that much.
apart from minister slot, he's not had other benefits despite his investment.
tinubu on the other hand has the VP slot, several ministers, as well as the highest party position.

If not you will focus more on promoting and selling your own candidate and less on trying to discredit Tinubu in the eyes of Nigerians. You guys are winning him more support and fans plus giving him free publicity and fame.
