I did apply for Finance, Technology and Policy. From previous scholars blog, a major percentage studied Africa and international dev.

Please when was this statement released. Does it apply to all the schools or only applies to UBC?

only UBC.. Edinburgh will send their emails towards d end of march, UBC will also call their successful scholars(Those that will scale through this interview stage) towards d end of march as well
UBC will not send rejection emails. they will only contact successful applicants

I’m really tired of rejection. Here and there, all the applications just keep coming back with negative news. I bin think say I go japa this year o. Also, I want to ask, after the scholarship, do the scholars really come back to naija or they find their way from there?

i am not sure, i wasn't nominated for mcgill last year

You have to stay positive and open. I applied to 6 scholarships last year,4 sent rejections, one had me on waiting list, only UBC pulled through. the day i got a call from UBC, i received my rejection letter from Edinburgh like 20minutes and had already given up b4 UBC called.
I don't know any of the scholars that have returned to Naija
