What should I do to prevent my redmi 8a from closing apps please? I can't open at least two apps simultaneously without one app closed by the phone. |

Kennyflyair:Did you take a video of the items? And I thought the New Year is over? The earlier you open a dispute for items received, the better.. |

genius43:but doesn't that mean eventually global roms will get it too or do Chinese roms typically get longer android updates compared to global roms |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 7:47pm On Feb 22, 2021 |
tidedroid: They get same life support but one receives update faster. China RN8 got stable Android 10 almost 5 months before the Global. I am just saying that before the lamentations start |

OllyFair:Those are the only thing I could think of at the moment. Adhesive sef go be probably the super glue like. I prefer the double-sided adhesives rather than those tube ones. 1 Like |

OllyFair: He didn't apply force, has to be later...I was wondering why it was up to that quantity, but I had to let him do his job |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by elantraceey(f): 10:20pm On Feb 22, 2021 |
Damritoh: My rn7 had the exact issue and after the guy fixed it, I didn't see this. I hope he didn't use force or too much glue or fake one? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by elantraceey(f): 10:23pm On Feb 22, 2021 |
Damritoh: Oh.... Just saw this.... It'll most likely be too much glue because the guy was fixing mine I was thinking it was too small and even told him if pulled again, I'll return it to him but it never did till now. He didn't even put it round, just the edges. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 10:25pm On Feb 22, 2021 |
Damritoh:I believe you did screen replacement. If that's the result of excessively glue, it may never leave and it's too late to do anything about it now. It's one of the reasons it's better to buy screen with frame. 2 Likes |

OllyFair:i use note 8 pro. My thought process is - if it's in the works for note 8 then it's in the work for 8 pro also. Personally though, i prefer miui update and security patches to android numbered updates cuz i like gaming and sometimes android updates ruin game support and most mobile game devs don't bother updating unless the game is still bringing in money |

mhiztalee:Normal if: 1. Charger is not ok. 2. Room temperature is high 3. Using the phone while charging 4. Hotspot is active 5. Many active background processes running, to mention a few. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by jboixxx: 5:06am On Feb 23, 2021 |
Haywhy433:Delete all registered prints, clean your fingers and register them again. If need be, you may need to hard restart, hard reset (if this started after an update) or manually install the latest ROM. Had similar experience recently but re-registering my prints resolved it. Edited. 1 Like |

jboixxx: Good morning, please take a look at my question. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by jboixxx: 5:34am On Feb 23, 2021 |
Squirrel01:. You're likely to get about 10hrs SOT. That's not bad as you're active on PUGB. You may reduce the screen brightness if you're the indoor type. |
