What should I do to prevent my redmi 8a from closing apps please? I can't open at least two apps simultaneously without one app closed by the phone.

Is it normal for my new RN9S to get hot while charging?

Quick Charge heats up phone so it is normal, that is why you are advised not to use your phone why Charging.

You should know that currently 2GB RAM is small in the current dispensation and MIUI is aggressive in killing processes to improve battery life and as well reduce operational lags.

You can lock few apps to the memory

But this is even over 50k na.
Yeah, I can still afford that, if it is around that price in Nigeria.

You cannot get it for that price in Nigeria. Besides Xiaomi Nigeria didn't launch the 3GB Ram variant in Nigeria

Samsung now offers four years of security updates to Galaxy phones and tablets.

Can't Xiaomi embrace this, if we're not paying for software they can still offer something reasonable.

Most phones apart from budget get 3 years support. I am fine with that. And RN8 and Pro will be the first Note devices globally (Removing the Indian RN5) to get two android upgrades that is laudable.

Samsung is still a bigger company with a larger staff strength so allow Xiaomi to grow at their pace. They are doing exceedingly well for a 10 year old company

More like Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and Mi 10i in the Camera department. I seriously doubt they will use the same SOC.

Only the galaxy series will get up to that. That's their flagship/ midrange series. Most flagship Xiaomi lineup gets up to 3years. Even budget series. I think that's something reasonable.

Xiaomi midrange don't get 3 years update. Only one major Android update and 2 MIUI update.

Oga Samsung promised security updates not major updates. Know the difference.

Poco M3 4/64 is available at 60k on Jumia right now, that's the best deal you can get at that price

I use RN5. It came with MIUI 9 and now I am on MIUI 12 do the maths.

Like I said Some Midranges from Xiaomi gets 2 android eg Mi Max 3, Mi 8 lite, Mi 9T updates but not the Notes but that seems to be changing with the RN8/Pro.

Delete all registered prints, clean your fingers and register them again. If need be, you may need to hard restart, hard reset (if this started after an update) or manually install the latest ROM.
Had similar experience recently but re-registering my prints resolved it.

Edited.
I think I hard reset already.
How do I manually install the latest rom sir

Normal if:
1. Charger is not ok.
2. Room temperature is high
3. Using the phone while charging
4. Hotspot is active
5. Many active background processes running, to mention a few.
Tnx boss
