Only Oyo and Osun speak language in close semblance with central Yoruba. but naming culture across Yoruba land done in the general language because of it's official nature. Though on some occasion, especially in Ondo south, people gave name in the dialect e.g Temetan- Temikotan in general Yoruba meaning mines isn't finished ( I'm not finished)

Oyo and osun speak semblance because we have Oyo subgroup in osun state and the central Yoruba spoken today is Oyo Yoruba ie Oyo dialect
