Trash talk. Always trying to sound correct politically.
We don't need any sudden plan. We had the cassava surge under Adeshina the former agric minister but it was allowed to lose momentum.
But you were among the first set of people to criticize the government when FG close border, how convenient.

You need to go and read how VP transform Zaki Biam through ease of doing business please.

Is it not when you are alive that you will eat. Security should be our priority MR VP. You are not living up to expectation. To say we are disaapointed is an understatement.

A hungry man is an angry man, and after what the country went through especially during the covid-19 lockdown, we have to identify new systems of food production and storage for our ever growing population.

Osibade should quietly resign. He has been pushed to the wall. He should save his manhood and resign

Imagine a v.p that can't buy toiletries for his office if its not approved by a subordinate?? Even atiku, in face of all the open attacks to vilify him wasn't subjected to such ridicule.

Save your manhood oga
It is sensible to say a VP cannot but toiletries except with the approval of his boss? This show how shallow minded you are. This is the same man that ensured your uncles and aunts who are private school teachers got paid from NESP survival fund. The same man working round the clock to enable us exit recession which we have now, thank God for his ESP master plan.

You people are always afraid of this good man, you cant stand him simply because he is focusing on discharging his duties and not playing to 2023 drama. Keep wailing.

Reading you trash made me wonder the kind of person are you? i wonder how your friends cope with you seriously.

What should I do with this information. I am not part of your terror Regime which you are Osubande.

Do the needful and channel this information to your Master. The Masses can do nothing.

You are wailing too much. Why is it that you derive orgasm from Osinbajo's matter? This is the same man that took us out of recession twice, one caused by GEJ admin and the covid.

Be like Yemi so that you can be a better person.

Nonsense. Stop Boko Haram and banditry so that people can go to the farms and keep killer herdsmen in check
Re: Osinbajo: Nigeria Needs Urgent Action On Food As Population Surges by oluade11: 12:21pm On Feb 25, 2021
Good. We will produce more food now that people cannot go to farm.

Boosting agriculture is primarily government responsibility. The environment must be safe and there must be incentives like soft loan, tractor, and infrastructures in rural areas.

Many youths are ready to go into full time agriculture but insecurity and finance has discouraged many.

Maybe you should employ MaiAim's strategy to help the country undecided

If Nigeria can invest in massive Agricultural reforms that allows all Farmers sell directly to the Government who in turn sell finished food back to residents. More employment through processing companies and Government farms. Food security on another hand.

MaiAim is for Agricultural reforms.
All we need is to control our birthing rate and also accept new advancement in biotechnical development researches.

If I may ask,how nany acres of farmland do you have to increase the food supply or what have you contributed to nation building, but you just decided to rubbish the governance

I find it funny how they are talking about trying to manage an ever increasing population instead of slowing down the absurd population growth.

Irresponsible people have irresponsible ideas and Osinbajo is just like his boss.
Re: Osinbajo: Nigeria Needs Urgent Action On Food As Population Surges by Jhayphil: 12:36pm On Feb 25, 2021
We need to come up with a solution on food production, food storage, by the use of mechanised farming.
Re: Osinbajo: Nigeria Needs Urgent Action On Food As Population Surges by JOACHINpedro:
I'll keep on saying it, Nigeria is heading towards a grave Famine season and guess what, lockdown hunger would be a child play if we don't buy sense. We have lost it totally, the farmers that kept us fed are now scared of going to farm due to insecurities and worst still, the population keeps on booming without augmenting it with food for sustainability.
Yes! We eat too much and that's not about to change because the strenuous work output that prevails in our society must level up with the energy (food) input. Sadly, sometimes it's undermined.
The best solution lies with our government.
Simply bring out money and fund Agricultural and scientific Researchers across the country. This will not only create more jobs for biological scientists but it will also encourage local food investors and save the the country $trillion that would be spent buying foods from other nations to curtail the coming Famine.

It's not hoarse but a hunch that has 87% possibility

Insecurity is the major cause of food shortage in Nigeria, which indirectly leads to inflation.

Why is it that Nigerian government can never talk about family planning? Such a simple concept that will go a very long way to solving majority of Nigeria's woes.

As it is , why should an unemployed man have 5 wives and 25 kids to then tell us he must have more kids because "children are a blessing from God"?

We are swimming against the tides, and will never win, if we don't tackle the unfeasible population growth of Nigeria because universal challenges exist related to fast growing population having to share dwindling resources. The population of the world is growing too rapidly for the resources of the world to cater for.

The problem is then far worse in Nigeria that is poor, infrastructurally comatose, creating far less jobs to even employ a minimally optimal number of Nigerians and with issues of poor healthcare, illiteracy, terrorism, crime, corruption etc. We need to start confronting major problems rather than dancing around them because we are surely going down if we continue doing the later.
Are you telling me that without family planning being addressed by the government then you cant caution yourself

Sigh
He is talking about child control. No body can stop anyone from mating. When you are in your room ,you can do whatever you like. This our governments knows what to do,but for regions and religion belief, they will not do it. China here, China there. Do you know what they did? The made it compulsory for a family to have one child. We all can see the aftermath. China today, lift 800million of their citizens out of extreme poverty. That is huge, marvel and outstanding.

Bigoted and hateful folks just can't stand him because of his ethnic origin. That is the bottom line. We all know the reality of Nigeria to understand the VP is a spare tyre that may be used occasionally or never at all.

It is then very hateful to pour vitriol on this amiable and decent man when we all know he would certainly do a lot different, to the glory of Nigeria, if he was the President and substantive head of the executive arm.

Every human being alive today saw proof of this with the performance of Osinbajo in the little time he was acting President while Buhari was abroad for health reasons.

Leave the haters. Gof is far greater than them and will have his ways despite their mischief against our good, well-meaning and very competent VP.

I certainly can because I am exposed and not a religious zealot like most Nigerians. Most Nigerians don't believe in abortion as it is a religious 'sacrilege' and they will marry many wives and have countless kids because their religion permits that.

Re-orientating those with that sort of mindset is what I am talking about not the pragmatically intelligent and responsible Nigerians who are having 2 kids despite being wealthy enough to take care of at least 5 children optimally.

Government can take control through a nationwide policy of involving religious/cultural leaders, health sector experts, educationists, the media etc to drive home the message of a "have children you can care for" national campaign drive. The mindset of many Nigerians must change.

Most Nigerians who besiege me today for help are young people, too young to be catering for themselves, who have living parents they cannot even go to for help because they cannot help and are penniless. Many don't even live with their parents anymore and are forced to fend for themselves be it through prostitution, hustling, yahoo whatever.

Uncontrolled and largely irresponsible population growth is not good for Nigeria long term. It is unsustainable and will destroy us.
