Hello Guys,

Been a silent follower over the past few years. You guys are doing amazing tbh.

So this is my third application I was denied twice initially which really surprised me due to my extensive travel history etc.

I reapplied on the 23rd on January honestly due to pressure from my parents cause I had totally given up on the whole Canada thing however in exactly a month I got an update to proceed for medical my questions are
1. If I pass the medical does it make it sure that I will get the visa ?
2. The next available date for medical in Lagos is over a month a way is there any advice on how to get an earlier date.

Thanking you guys once again for the great work you guys are doing here.

If you have gotten medical request, it means u are at 90% assured of getting an approval. Therefore go to either IOM in ikeja or Qlife in VI.

You know yours was paper application which you won't get PPR notification and because your passport wasn't SUBMITTED with your Application you were actually waiting if they will send PPR until you sent mails and webforms before you were notified by Lagos visa office to send your passport

Awys I did paper but when I was submitting was March the first lockdown so they returned our passports back because they said everyone should return back to their country and all of that so since then it’s been with me

Just be patient. I did paper application same March before the lockdown and all. When I got my bvl, I waited a month plus to get ppr. The visa was issued for the date I got bvl. So I think it is the fault of IRCC in Nigeria. Be patient and send web forms

I have visited Q life earliest date is at the end of March plan on visiting IOM on Saturday.

Hello,

You can book with IOM today before visiting on Saturday. I think the visit would be just to clarify if you can get an appointment date earlier than the one on their online booking system.

I've noticed that IOM ABUJA has earlier dates, I think 16th March if you check today, while the next available date at IOM Lagos is around 2nd April.

Depending on your location, you can book with Abuja to get things done quicker.

IT WILL END IN PRAISES

Hi NL,

I have been a silent observer because i believe we need to observe the thread carefully before one can apply..

I have Bsc.Edu In Chemistry in 2015. 2.1 precisely and been working in the educational sector and also acting as a consultants to about 3 schools.. And thinking of the course to apply for and the school i choose Post Baccalaureate in Education at the University of Manitoba ( a year program)

My question is

1. What are the chances of getting my visa approved with that particular program ( Post Baccalaureate in Education) since its a year program and starts only in Fall

2. Is there an alternative course i can apply for just to boost my chances

3. My Uncle is the sponsor but i have an educational institution registered with government and also the school i consult with can give me a letter of recommendation.

Please NL i need your views

Thank you

You have a fantastic profile but you missed out a very very very important document; Affidavit of support.

Go to a Notary court and make an affidavit of support duly signed by your sponsor stating that he would finance your study all through. The affidavit will be sealed by the notary public to make the document authentic and internationally recognized. A letter of sponsorship is not enough.

Just like Nwanyiokpa said; You need an affidavit of support. That's the only hinderance and also, is the account with 9.9 million a savings or business account?

The VO is also not convinced that you would adhere to the rules of a temporary resident so to tackle this, you can make an affidavit of good behavior stating that you will adhere to all the rules during your stay.

Goodluck with tour next application and i hope to pop champagne with you on your approval. cool

Anyone getting PPR should avoid sending their passport to Vfs Lagos please.. I am currently still in Nigeria due to that, i submitted my passport for stamping but it was returned to me back unstamped...my passport was there for a month and half. This was September 2019 by the way
P.S just an advice.
