In anambra state here, the foods we normally eat are cultivated here, like bitter leaf, cocoyam, pepper, even red oil,we have rice from anambra and ebonyi,we can substitute stew with Banga soup,so I understand why the north always claim that they feed the south.
we can even grow that tomatoes and beans sef, na we don conclude say it's only from aboki

Those Trucks should try moving without Petrol from the South
Petrol is extremely cheaper in Niger Republic than Nigeria. Northern petroleum marketers buy from Nigeria because it will be too unpatriotic for them to buy from Niger Republic when we have in our country. Still some buy from Niger due to her closeness to some Northern states.

What a country?

Farmlands in the north are producing without disturbance from herdsmen but down south herdsmen are eating up farm produce. Yet some idiots can't see a motive, some idiotic govs and politicians in the south will be supporting herdsmen over farmers

WAT SURPRISES ME THE MOST IS HOW THE NORTH CAN BE USING ONIONS TO OPPRESS THE SOUTH

THE SOUTH CAN GROW THESE THINGS ON THEIR VERY FERTILE LAND.

WE HAVE THE OIL AND GAS.

IF THE NORTH TRY ANY NONSENSE, THE PIPELINES HEADING NORTH WILL BE BLOWN UP.

The pipeline doesn't belong to the south. It belongs to the Federal Republic of Nigeria

Come to the South and carry it na. By the time tankers carrying fuel to the North are stopped, let's see how you will survive.

They should sell it to their almajiris

Who cares

Dependent, beggars by profession feeling important

Now if the southerners decided not to give the professional northern beggars money they will start foaming in the mouth

We have farmers in the southern Nigeria but this wicked cursed region will send their havoc causing Herdsmen to destroy farms and frustrate southern farmers

Lubbish!!

Time for the south to redirect their pipelines to cameroon or even Togo
Unfortunately, the south put the north in power and thus the north controls the pipelines.

You are ignorant. This is from former GMD of NNPC. I hope the North has started looking for other places to get cheap fuel.

Citing the example of neighbouring Niger Republic, Mr Kyari said a litre of petrol in a Total filling station in Niamey, the capital, where he visited recently, sold for about N464.
Compared with Nigeria, where petrol is currently being sold for between N160 and N170 per litre, he said the average disparity between prices in Nigeria and Niger Republic was about N300 per litre.

We will plant onions in the South. Our land is more fertile than that of the North.

I just hope the North is sensible enough not to let the South consider farming on a large-scale. That will make the North very useless and diminish the economic value of Northern farmers.
