I honestly believe that many Christians criticize Islam, without reading about Islam from reputable Islamic sources. Furthermore, I believe that Christians do not read their Bible. Take, for example, the head scarf, may Christians think that women in Islam are oppressed because men forced them to wear head scarf. How about the hundred of thousands of Muslim women in the West who put Hijab on? Can men force them to do that in the west?? This is just a big lie against Islam.

The odds are not that farfetched to anyone who thinks objectively. But who really cares? I just hate daftness and was only pointing out the petty silliness of it all. In my opinion, CAN cannot force Muslim girls to go against their religious belief just because of some silly notion that it will make it easier for terrorists to identify non Muslim girls. After all, they are the ones that want to disguise as Muslims, so they should be the ones to wear hijab or whatever they think will keep their girls safer.

The bottom line is; let those who want to wear, wear it; and those who don't want to wear, not wear it. I don't think that either covering or uncovering a head has any effect on the academic performance of a student, and it should not be made into a talking point. This issue is far overblown, and considering that it is Christians who are trying to impose their standards on others, it seems that the Christians are the ones overblowing it...objectively speaking.

Which hijab? What you see Mary in was cultural dressing, not religious dressing nor was it ever called a hijab. Why do Muslims like lying to themselves about a Jewish woman they never knew? It was cultural clothing appropriate for the weather. But in Nigeria, without the desert heat, sun and sandstorms, what do Nigerian women want to wear the hijab for?
