The whole journey was long, stressful, time and money consuming; there were times when I was like damn the whole thing and then boom something encouraging will happen. I am just grateful to God for everything.

Mmeeeehhhhnnnn CONGRATULATIONS !!! And you landed just in the nick of time...before AL became a thing.

This...in italics...LIFE.....peaks and troughs..may we always be able to say "Praise God" through it all. Thanks for sharing your story...so encouraging.

From people with similar experience, it takes about 9 to 10 days after creation of the profile for it to lose its pending status.

Thanks for the insight

No, I schooled there as well. I wrote a letter of explanation in place of the PCC and quoted what was written on the IRCC website.

nekkyblues:

Please I’ll like to ask regarding PCC, were you born in Benin Republic? I asked because on IRCC’s website here -

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/benin.html

It is stated that there that police certificates are only available to applicants born in Benin.

I actually schooled there and want to know if it’s compulsory for me to get one.

Would appreciate your response, thanks.

Yes, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

ShoeShineGuy:

Congrats to you and the family Setf. You've conquered and thanks for the gist. Quite encouraging for some of us that there's light at the end of this tunnel. Also interesting to know that somehow, people are still finding a way to sneak out. cheesy

I schooled there as well but in order to sleep well I actually went to get it but this her post here if created earlier would have saved me from the stress I went through in getting their PCC. Although I went through the Nigerian Embassy there and it was issued by their Tribunal. In addition, I'll like to ask you some questions regarding evaluation.

Hello, Pls have you been able to rectify this issue?
zionakika:
Good day house, Please I created my express entry profile 4 days ago for Federal Skilled Worker but its still yet to reflect. It is still saying PENDING.

How long does it normally take for it to reflect and be in the pool?

Can this be as a result of the multiple applications they are attending to ?

Any suggestions on what I need to do ?

A reply will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Are you also a unilag alumni?... How long did it take the private courier to deliver it?.

Thanks alot for your response

Yes I'm an alumna, I really can't remember exact days of delivery but I'm sure it was less than 2 weeks.

smiley She did. Someone else also did in their PPR story, see here:

https://www.nairaland.com/4472519/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/87#67440947

It's amazing the quality of information that is available on NL (on correct threads not the yeye ones smiley ) e.g. I renewed passport a year ago DIY with Servicom courtesy of info from NL.....mostly seamless.

All the best to everyone !

Ps: hope it won't be an issue that you were able to get a document - Benin Republic PCC - that is normally only available to citizens.

I just got SINP ITA. Apart from reference letter, they've asked for 3 supporting docs. I can get pay slips, offer letter, bank statement but one must be govt issued such as tax or pension. In my 10yrs work experience, I don't have pension. It was only in one of my workplaces that taxes were deducted, salary was paid in cash and even that company is now defunct.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and how were you able to solve it?

Thanks

I have some questions to ask you regarding sinp. What is the minimum CRS score required to be eligible for their nomination and also can one add spouse Post ITA. In addition, does one pof have to be in his account months before applying or you can use gifts deed. Thank you

Hi everybody in the house!!! I’m new on this platform, I don’t know how it works here. I have read through different immigration parts and I am very impressed. Albeit I still need advice on my case. I have B. Sc in Tourism Studies and currently rounding off my master’s in Business Administration here in Nigeria. I am a flight attendant with almost 4years experience in the same organization and about 3 years experience in customer service / sales from previous jobs. But these skills fall under the skill level C of the NOC Canadian system.

Without further ado, Below are my details.

1. Age: 32 years old.

2. Educational background
B.Sc Tourism Studies Second Class Upper 3.87
M.Sc Business Administration (in view)

3. Professional certificate:
HSE (1-3)

4. Marital Status : Single

5. Current account balance is NGN1m, 4500usd

6. Job Experience:
Flight attendant - more than 3 years
Customer service/sales rep from previous jobs - more than 3 years

7. I currently have a South African visa on my passport.

8. Sponsorship: myself

9. Family ties: father’s property and my current job

I’m in a fix currently, which immigration options would favor me more (EE or via study visa)? I hope I’m asking the right questions. And could you suggest universities or colleges I can apply to if I’m favor of study visa, I’m open to better ideas and advise too. Thanks I’m anticipation.
