Something just struck my mind now, could it be that the government placed restrictions and ban on poultry products for the prices to be too high for common man to buy there by leading to the increase in demands and dependent on northern cow, and not because they want to protect poultry farmers. Because I see that we have enough herdsmen in Nigeria and the government isn't banning importations of cows to protect local herders.
