Last year was a terrible period in my life in terms of self discipline, financial discipline and sense of responsibility.
I actually got a job within did period, would I say the loneliness and frustration I faced at the location of the job led me to all sort of indisciplined act?


I was actually deployed to a new location on the job where I knew no one not even a family member. I actually stayed in a friend friend's place for some time before I left for my own personal apartment.
I am a kind of introvert. When I got to my new apartment, I felt alone isolated etc most especially during the lockdown period. During this period I was lonely, didn't have anyone to talk to was frustrated at work etc which led me to visiting bet9ja shops. I wasnt always involved in the gambling, till I started getting tempted by the people there. I lost a lot of money there. I still kept on playing it because I thought I could recover my money.


During this period, I observed I wasn't fending for myself I wasn't buying clothes eating good foods etc.


Like I said I am kind of introvert... On the job, I was performing particularly well which led to my dismissal. September last year.

This left me broke and lonely the more.


Thank God I have gotten another job and still in another new location how do I ensure I don't make the same mistakes of the past.

2020 was also a terrible year for me too

admission was not given to us
my elder sister dying of cancer witth us running from local to federal hospitals for 11 good months before she gave up the ghost (im actally happy that she died cause life with cancer is not life at all)
at least things are looking up for me this 2021. i hope God helps me restore all that i lost

just make sure you are a good human to others and take care of yourself

Being an introvert isn't the reason for your problems, it would have been the perfect solution to help you save your money. Gambling is bad, no matter the angle you come from, stay away from it and you can find a place that is calm to use as a get away spot from frustration whenever it kicks in. I'm an introvert too, but whenever I feel lonely, I take a walk around the street, sometimes I stop at a bar for a bottle of beer then when evening comes, I go back home and then I'm online.

In order to stop you have to start smoking weed

Find a Bible living church and make urself useful there. Your idleness will disappear

You are a defensive person, you give reasons for your failures, you are not ready to take responsibility of your actions. Being introvert is never a reason to indulge in horrible things but rather a grace to concentrate more on yourself. You need to take your life more serious and stop blaming what is not for your wrong did. Look for serious people around (maybe one or two) n make them ur friend, you can look for good books (self improvement) and start reading them.
