Just to put out here, there are cheaper options if you plan to travel. Montreal has cheaper government approved hotels and you can book directly. 443 CAD for the three nights, the likes of Comfort Inn, and there are still cheaper hotels than this.

Just choose an airline that's stopping over at an affordable area.

Please must I print my SOA, I intend to travel with cash of about 2800USD

Thanks for this . Am actually landing at Montreal first before going to New Brunswick next month

Do you have the link to these hotels in Montreal ?

On your question . I think it’s safer to print the statements. Nobody really know what they are going to do next .

All the best

Good day people ,

Please for those going to Fanshawe. Is it compulsory you apply through an agent here in Nigeria .

Because on their website , they stated it specifically they are not accepting any new agents from Nigeria.

Am trying to make an application for my sister and I don’t really know how to go about this .

Thanks

All the best

Download latest Adobe Reader DC.
You should be able to open and edit the pdf

Hello everyone,
This is for a friend

She wants to pay her tuition so that she can use it for her application. Her brother wants to pay the tuition for her but her mom is her sponsor for her application.

Will this affect her application as it would be seen that the tuition is not paid by her mom from the bank statement submitted?

Can her brother pay her tuition even though her mom is her sponsor?

https://www.booking.com/city/ca/dorval.html

Please book using this link. Booking using some other reservation website could mean you paying higher. I had to cancel my first reservation using a different website.

Also, after booking, you need to contact the hotel to ensure to inform them that you are booking due to COVID-19 mandatory quarantine and want to confirm that you have been booked appropriately. Try to book in Naira also, it would be converted to CAD and the taxes are way cheaper.

To get cheapest deals, you can book using choice hotels website, however you need to register as a member, be a resident of some listed developed countries and have a credit card, not debit card. If not, please use booking.com

Just make transfer to their account and print out the receipt. Come along with it and your intl passport. You're good with those 2. All the best

Hi Babyibi,

Final decision comes 8-12 week after the deadline for the course.

What course did you applied for, when did you submit and is it UG or PG?

Hi Thaiy,

Hi Thaiy,

I applied for Masters in Mathematics, submitted my application on the 10th of February, 2nd referee sent in my reference on the 9th of Feb, what do you mean by UG or PG?

Just to encourage you, I am leaving my one year old baby, although my program ends in Dec. (I am at peace with this because I tried to travel with him but my first application was rejected and then I had to apply alone).

Think it through, finances and everything and do what gives you peace. It's a tough decision.

Thank you so much mami. Now i feel better.

Congratulations on your PPR. Atleast mine will be almost 2 by the time I'm going. Thank you

Good morning. Have you tried checking other schools? Aside from manitoba. May be the ones with low tuition but still offer your course of choice

No not yet, I thought Manitoba seems to be my most preferable choice.

I can always make research about unis in Winnipeg area.

Ecobank is on MBS. All they should have done was call the Head office branch for directive and clarification. It is simple and easy to get.

Hope you have got it from another branch.

All the best.

Hello house
Please i got admission into seneca college for a 1 year program and am having a deadline to make payment latest march 29th please house am new here and would need advice on the best bank to make payment from as seneca is showing me only through online methods without an account number. Or do i have to open a domicillary account to make this payment.

Hi Hubmon
There should be an account number, sort code and swift code. You can pay using the Form A method at the bank. Show them your admission letter. You'll have to fill some documents. Although processing a Form A take up to one month. You can request an extension of payment deadline from Seneca

You have responded to the question.
UG means Undergraduate studies while PG is Postgraduate studies.

OK, your reference sent their letters before deadline, when was the deadline for your program?

Read the IRCC details on the website again, yes you can.

However, you need to inform them that you are booking for COVID-19 reasons.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Nobody: 1:44pm On Mar 02, 2021
Nna, Its expensive o. There is a different rate for those booking due to COVID-19 reasons.

I just received their response now o. $1071CAD.

I have to look for a cheaper hotel abeg.

Goodday house.... Hope everyone is doing great?
I got a mail from IRCC this morning requesting for mybankStatement for my sponsor.

Now this is my story, i applied in November with upfront medical, i sent mybankStatement for my own personal account but the normal paper statement for my sponsor (my sponsor transfered my fees into my account and it was highlighted in my SOP) . Then i got NSE request in January , requesting for IELTS alone. I wrote and submitted the IELTS. The good news is that the money is still in my account since November but I'm scared because my sponsor does not really have much in his account presently.
So i was thinking i should send mybankStatement for my account and sponsor and write an LOE.

Please, i need advices on the best way to go about this. Thanks all.

Thanks for the info.
Please I will love to ask if it’s better to book using the link or better still download the app. Which is better?

Also for those of us that our final destination is Ottawa, is it advisable to stop at Montreal, observe the mandatory 3 days quarantine before getting a flight to Ottawa

I booked online. Please call your hotel to tell them it's for quarantine, the rate is different.

I dont know exactly what to advise with respect to flight, but I intend to reschedule my connecting flight after landing at my port of entry.

I booked directly with the airline and they have said it is possible to reschedule.

Please compare the cost of booking to your final destination and booking to your port of entry before picking flight o. The cost expensive small o.
