Your result leaving your school in naija gan (if it is all those local govt settings kind of school) can take take a week.

WES evaluation itself is like a week or two weeks .

I advice you just wait until you get funding. You absolutely will get one. That I-20 might be useless if it doesn’t reflect your funding. Please just wait with patience. Fall is still few months away

I'm not going to argue with you. What's the point of superb recommendations when your basics aren't strong enough, and your professors aren't known? If the person in question had a 320+ on GRE, she would have been admitted to at least one school. Publications et al help. But take this from someone that had a mediocre undergrad GPA (3.2+/4) from a US undergrad, no publication, no research, but GRE equivalent of 330+ (took old GRE) but got full funding into schools like Northwestern, UT Austin, Chapel Hill and Duke.

I disagree with you. Most Universities do a holistic review of applications. They consider every part of your application. Your GRE and GPA scores are not as important as your research experience. He has a very good profile. The most important aspect of your credentials is your research experience which you don't have. Try to publish your Masters and Undergrad projects. Get a very good SOP and look for Professors who will write very good reports for you (very important) and keep applying. All the best.

I applied too . Same program. Program coordinator said they are just abt to start reviewing. It might take few weeks for them to respond.

Boss if you go for interview without any form of funding for PhD, there is higher probability that your visa will be denied....
