All these indigenous contractors will always expose their incompetence.

Give RCC or begger any major contract. Our local contractors must cut corner.

That flyover and bridge is a disgrace to engineering. Whoever constructed and handled that project should be prosecuted and also have their licence withdrawn.

The cracks and all other structural defects were there from day one but they kept hiding them by patching them up with mortar. The bridge should be sealed.
Anambra state government should be held responsible if anyone sustain injuries there.

Pull that bridge down immediately before it cause loss of lives and properties.

consequences of cheap contractor/engineers, the same thing NIGERIA is suffering from, but fair because only one bridge is involved unlike the situation where a whole nation is collapsing and no one cares to help....

Well, not exactly true...

They are quite proficient... It's just that CORRUPTION & GREED won't allow the average Nigerian become great in Nigeria. undecided

These same "Civil" Engineers will travel out, get into construction and do far better and laudable projects.

The system here is rotten to the core!!!
