Thank you sis,hospitals do it in India and other western countries with the consent of the couple.The couples prefer to give to other families trying for children instead of disposing them because they consider they are already babies and have the right to live.

Yes,In my reply i did say tell it can be done with consent else it is illegal for the hospital to just give you.Not only India and the west there are hospitals in Nigeria that do it as well but it isn’t a very straightforward process plus embryo donation and embryo adoption are slightly different things.Good luck on your journey and do a bit more research.x.

Yes Google is a good way to start so you equip yourself with knowledge when you suggest options to your Doctors as some of them would try to brush you off.The cervix is not happy sometimes and it takes a few trials so don’t relent just yet.

Speak to someone at Nordica fertility and El-Rapha hospital both in Abuja.They would talk you through the process.

It is exactly the same as Ivf the only difference is that instead of the embryo being transfer when it has fertilised it is frozen and put back to you in another cycle.
This may be because you were for example bleeding or had Ohss(Ovarian hyper stimulation)and your body needs to calm down from the swollen ovaries.
Few days to your transfer you would be given progesterone and prognova(in my case)to thicken the lining of your uterus and your frozen embryo thawed and introduced through your cervix then it’s you 2 weeks wait.
Scientifically there is no real evidence that the outcome is any different from using fresh embryo so success or failure is determined by your body.

My review on androc are, I just had a failed circle with Androcare, yes an drocare! I went back to androca re from kingswill after spending 400k with ki ngswill, Dr. Ki ngswill will drive you crazy with his words and you will hate infertility to the point of hating your very life. During scans kingswill will relegate and shout on you and could even be derogatory (especially when u want to stand your guns or things are not just. The way he wants).

Andr oc ares Doctor Leke often won't respond to calls or chats not even at a time of pain such as a failed procedure at his hospital. He won't empathize or receive calls for a review for "what next" . Doctors in Lagos are plain mean and wicked ! Lagos cos at least at Elrap ha Abuja I had a cancelled circle yet the man will call and receive calls, He will explain every stage of the procedure and even made a part refund after a cancelled circle, Maybe cos he is just starting but I learnt Grabbo is also understanding and sympathetic to his patients, u know how crazy and sucking this journey is

Very sad ma'am. I cried through out yesterday. The husband keep saying is gone after spending all her saving on IVF. She had four failed IVF and three failed IUI. She did not even spent a day with her baby before God called her home. Very painful

Everyone,s Journey is different to be sincere.

I stayed on the progesterone pessaries vaginally morning and night till the pregnancy was confirmed negative so a little over two weeks as i started it three days before FET.I Also took aspirin and prednisolone steroid tablets(There is also progesterone in oil injection but did not take that in this cycle).

I have used my eyes to see the unseeable in this TTC journey.

I did a frozen transfer at the Bridge Clinic 2020 January, I gave birth to my awesome daughter the month of October, 2020.

Personally, the anxiety was crazy but I tried to channel my thoughts on staying positive, eating healthy and taking supplements in preparation to receive my baby.

When it is time, you will be on progesterone either injection or insertion of cyclogest a week before transfer as well as medication to build the linking of the womb. It varies with each clinic. I wish you all the best.

Nordica is expensive but very good. I have cycled with their Abuja clinic and it was Dr Aarti that handle my successful cycle.
