3 Lessons To Learn From The Parable Of Wheat And Tares by JourneytoEL(f): 7:10am On Mar 07, 2021
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed wheat in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the tares come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the tares and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

1. The evil people in church come from the devil.

A good number of people currently avoid going to church because of sad, past experiences with some terrible people in the church. But, the good news is, Jesus gave this parable more than 2000yrs ago, to describe how evil people always appear in the midst of God's children, and why you should expect them because times never change.
What are tares? Tares are plants that look like wheat and are hard to differentiate till the time of harvest.
Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will appear.(Matt 24:28). Wherever the children of God are gathered, there the children of the devil will appear. There's no church in this world that is devoid of evil people. They are in every church, fellowship and gathering of the saints. They were sown by their father while men slept. (matt 13:25). They come with the simple mission to do the will of their father which is to steal, to kill and to destroy( John 10:10). They are the ones, who spread malicious and false gossips and accusations, they steal, they bully, they promote sexual immorality to trap people in lust. They're the ones who come online to insult genuine pastors and they can do anything just to bring shame to the church and make people feel unsafe in church. They appeared in the times of Moses, as Jannes, Jambres ( 2 Tim 3:cool and the others who insulted Moses in the wilderness,(numb 14) they were there during the days of the apostles, they're present in our own days, even bolder now as they even have their own churches as false prophets, pastors and bishops and they will still be there in the next 100yrs. They may have different appearances but they all have the same goal, to bring disunity to the church and prevent people from going to the church.

2. God knows all that is happening in every church.

We serve an omniscient and omnipresent God, from whom no knowledge can be hidden. Don't be dismayed or follow the steps of evil, unrighteous people because it seems God is slow to judge. On the day of judgement, he will bring judgement upon the tares and they will be burnt.

3. Don't stay in a congregation with more tares than wheat.
Bad company, they say, corrupts good manners. Never stay in a church with much tares and few wheat. Such churches can't help you grow spiritually. If your church isn't helping you grow spiritually, pray to God about the matter and ask the Holy Spirit to direct you to a church that can build you up. Iron sharpenth iron. Seek a church that will take you along the path of salvation. A church that will help you grow as a born again, Spirit filled believer, a church that will help you produce much fruits in 100s and 1000s while we await the gathering of the wheat into the barn (heaven) of the good sower (Jesus). Remember the wolf always strikes the lone sheep. Decree and declare today, I am a wheat plant in the Lord's farm, no tare can uproot me from the field of my Saviour. I will stay in his field ( under his protection) and produce much grains to the Glory of my sower, while I await the glorious day of his harvest. Amen.

Kindly share your inspirations about this parable.

Have a Happy sunday.

In agriculture, Tares and wheats look alike, most people will not know the difference. Likewise,in the church, those who claim they are believers( tares) will mix with the real believers( wheat).

The servants represent the angels.

The master is jesus.

At the end of world as Christian believes, jesus christ will seperate the pretenders from the true Christian through his angels.

Lesson.

1. Both evil and good people will be in the church or in the society, that is the reality of life.

2. Good and evil will grow alongside in society or in the church but Be watchful and also stand your ground against evil.

3. Good will eventually win against evil.

As a believer, you should always pray. Only God through the Holy Spirit can help. You can never be careful enough to live in this wicked world

So, we should keep vigil waiting for enemies at night, abi?
That's our mentality and the way of the blacks.
But the 'night' is not really when you are physically sleeping, it could be anytime when you have lost your spiritual guard( Prayer and doing of Gods will)

The greatest weapon is Satan is Religion. The problem of the world today is Religion. Let's start treating ourselves like common humanity leaving on this plant earth not divided by relgion.

Thank you for a more positive view to the scripture. I wonder why we always have to view everything from an enemy and negative point of view

Also, The enemies prefer to attack while you are asleep ...So, don't lose guard

Like the boy scout motto: Be prepared

THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE SCRIPTURE. MOSES HAD THE SOLE AUTHORITY WHEN HE WAS ALIVE BECAUSE HE WAS THE DIRECT INTERMEDIARY BETWEEN THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AND GOD AT THAT TIME, SAME APPLIED CHRIST MUHAMMAD JOSHUA ABRAHAM JACOB AND ALL THE PROPHETS, THE CONGREGATIONS ALWAYS SEEK HEAVENLY KNOWLEDGE FROM THEM.

canality to the fullest....
Carnality is exactly what people who follow after such rules are guilty of. when you make up rules that have nothing to do with what God taught you or commanded, pretending you do so in His name.

The same God who set the sun in the sky over the days is the same one who set the mokn and stars over the night which He also created. For you to relegate His creation(the night) to evil reveals you are as carnal as those in the world who know nothing of Him or His reasons. undecided

God never gave you commandment regarding when you can sleep or for how long. He did program your body to sleep when it needs it but here you are making up rules about how long anyone who follows God can and should sleep at night.. Attempting to deceive them in His name. undecided

When you uggest that those whom you have installed as your enemies attack you mostly at night, when God never declared such a law for His work, what do you think you accomplish? . undecided
