excellentwork:Nice job but then it’s too wordy. May I ask why you don’t want to go with your child? The boy is still very young. Do you think you would be granted a visa if you decide not to go with your son? There are people here in the U.S that did this same thing with the hope that the hubby and child would come over later but they got denied. All you need is to provide a bank statement that can cater for you both. |

excellentwork:Go to your program page and read on what the program will offer you. You can rewrite that in your own words to answer the question ‘why did you choose Troy University?” The school being designated as military friendly has nothing to do with the reason you picked it. It only means the school offers post-military education. Are you in the military in Nigeria? Talk on what you stand to gain from the school. |

osadestiny:Not an issue at all. It only shows your sponsor have enough in his bank account to sponsor your education all through the duration. Some schools round up sponsor’s account balance to the nearest figure of the COA. But in your case the whole amount in your sponsor’s account balance was rounded up. You are safe. |

Hi guys, Asking for a friend She gained admission and her uncle wants to sponsor her coupled with her savings. The course she's going for is completely different from her academic background and current job, however, a career change is the goal as she intends to move to a different country after school(almost gotten her Permanent Residency) and practice in the new field. Do you think she stands a good chance of getting the visa if she shares all these at the interview? Please we will like as many takes on the matter as possible. Thanks |

Hello, I have submitted some applications for masters degree in USA and waiting for decision. I am positive I would be admitted because I submitted a strong application. My concern is with the F1 visa interview, I am not big on funding as I am capable of funding myself. The main issue is will there be red flags if I am sponsoring myself? How best can I position myself in front of the VO? what do I need to work on? Please enlighten me on the pros and cons of sponsoring yourself for graduate school(masters). Thank you |

| Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by Friedpotato: 7:40am On Mar 10, 2021 |
May93:I don't think she has anything to worry about, as long as she's already working in the new said field |
| Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by Friedpotato: 7:48am On Mar 10, 2021 |
Bank450:What kind of place do you work? how much do you have? If you're sponsoring yourself and your parents are not involved, then you should have almost times 2 of your COA so that the V.O won't think you'd starting working to pay for your second year or go out of status. Alternatively, If you have a good business here that you can go to the embassy with its bank statement, that would be good too. If you have none of this, still prepare well and try your luck. People have done this and gotten approved before. |

Friedpotato:She’s not working in the new field yet. One of her major concerns is that she doesn’t plan to come back to Nigeria. Can they deny her because there are no strong home ties? |

Friedpotato:Thanks for your swift response. Made much of it through network marketing, I should have x2 of my COA is that enough? I have a company but the company does not have enough cash flow yet, (should I start building it? wont it be too late?) Can the company help in any way? I have 2 in Nigeria and 1 in the UK but not enough cash flow tho, Just registered them for a business Idea I have. Is there any way I can use the company(s) to strengthen my application? I have another question, I am close to getting married, should I marry now and apply together with my wife? or should I apply alone and then come back for marriage later? I will appreciate your response on this as well. Thank you |

Good evening guys, please I’ll like to ask if it is possible to change course of study in the same school when you get to USA after receiving your study visa? |
| Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by TWoods(m): 3:57am On Mar 11, 2021 |
revenant:Don't risk it if you do not have the funds or a defined way to cover your loans. Hopefully your scholarship comes through. |
