Sha, that's the average for that part of Anambra state. I paid around that amount for the traditional marriage rites. Its when you add all those iku aka ima uno etc that you might hit 500k. But those are expected to be done months before the d-day unless you have big balls of money.

It's never a good thing to generalize. Now this is from Obosi in Anambra State......I love this list as it even takes into consideration those who are born again.
You should note that this may not be so for some other parts in Anambra State.


Now you said Benue State where you come from is espensive are you saying it's the entire State or just some communities. You can do well to post a list given from your family/compound to a prospective in-law so we compare.
