Pastor Essa Ogory's Death: A Sad Lesson On Believing A One-Sided Story by robosky02(m): 7:13pm On Mar 10, 2021
Pastor Essa Ogory of the Fulfilling Word Foundation Church in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is reportedly dead.

He was the pastor accused some weeks ago of refusing to wed a couple who showed up late to the church, in a video that went viral.

The details of his death revealed that the Gospel minister has been battling with ill health long before the wedding brouhaha.

After he allegedly took ill, he mentioned that he couldn't make it to the planned wedding, and offered to delegate a junior pastor to wed the couple.

However, the couple reportedly insisted on having the sick man officiate the wedding.

Under the pressure, an unstable Pastor Essa flew in from Lagos right from his sickbed to town to honour the call.

While in church, he waited for the couple who were yet to arrive.

It's important to note that the illness had taken a toll on the clergyman, therefore, it wasn't easy waiting as long as an hour before the delaying couple.

When they did show up at the stipulated time, they were given two options:

To be joined in holy matrimony in the man's office or allow the junior pastor officiate the wedding.

Neither of the two options went down with the couple whom allegedly flared up and took to raining insults on the pastor including their guests, which we saw in the now circulated video.

Most Nigerians took the news and ran with it, although without knowing the true situation of things.

It sparked debates on social media, most of which convicted the Pastor for ruining the couple's day.

In a sad turn of events, after a long struggle with his health, Pastor Essa Ogory of the Fulfilling Word Foundation church passed on.

Unfortunately, he lost his wife a year ago in February and is survived by a 17-year-old child.

It's sad that things happened this way. It's a lesson to all on the dangers of believing one-sided stories.

May his soul rest in peace.

My attention has be drawn to a thread on this forum where some Nairaland ladies were marketed for potential husbands and some people wondered why I was not on the list of those marketed.

Listen my fellow nairalanders, good things do not need advertisement before they are sold. And again, ever wondered why Ferraris are not advertised on TVs? That's because those buying Ferraris don't seat to watch TVs. I can't be marketed on this forum because my future hubby can never be from here. God forbid
Most Nairaland men are toxic, ill mannered, bitter, and the list goes on. The few who are educated and well mannered are already married.

I need data please to carry out an assignment and research online.
300mb is okay.
Thanks
Listen Ebenezer or whatever you call yourself, I don't mingle with school dropouts or those begging for 300mb to browse.
Below is my data usage from the past 30days. During lockdowns I used more than 100G in 30days. If in doubt, check out a thread on this forum where people were posting their data usage for 30days. The thread was on front page.
I don't beg for data like you do here.

EbenezerTriumph:
school dropout that later graduated, should I send you my mat number and the year I graduated so you could confirm from UI that I got a first class?
saw your post where you said you're still in school I pray you don't come out a failure cos I'm already seeing failure written all over your career.
Besides the person I asked for 300 mb to browse retails data and I paid him for it.
Jobless lesbian
Yes I'm in school. One of the best schools and I'm not a dropout like you. I don't beg for 300mb like you. I don't go about posting my number begging for writing jobs like you. See how you were rushing to get a writing job that pays 1naira 5koko per word.
Hmm. Such a pity.

Nonsense upon Nonsense. The couple must be sick and should be ashamed of themselves if this was true. Why don't people like to have a low budget wedding? It's truly baffling. Smh

An average Nigerian makes conclusion on everything he or she hears and only few will wait to listen to both sides of the story although one side of the story still remains unknown.....

The Man of God would easily be remembered as the Pastor who recently refused to join a couple in holy matrimony because they arrived late for the wedding ceremony.

News of the wedding went viral with some people expressing reservations about the incident even as the couple were later wedded by another Pastor.

Pastor Ogorry passed away in Port-Harcourt on Tuesday February 16, days after his birthday on February 9,2021. Is service of song is today 10 march 2021

It was learnt that the clergy whose wife, Tonyemieba Essa-Ogorry (Nee Amachree) who was popularly known as Pastor Tee, also died February 16,2020, flew into Port-Harcourt from Lagos to cement the said wedding but had to retire to his office because of some undisclosed health issues when the couple didn’t keep to time.

He left behind a son who is still in secondary school and a host of relatives.

His passing has however, thrown the Christian community in the State into deep mourning.
