I heard of a neighbours family friend who came back to Nigeria from abroad for her father's burial ceremony

Then they did a big party which the father's relatives initially kicked against because of security reasons and Covid issues but you know in nigeria Na who get money get mouth. the woman insisted that it's her father's burial and they must give him a beffiting burial.

Anyway they went ahead and gave him a beffiting burial where she was spraying bundles of ₦1000 notes at the burial ceremony,not long after the party she was kidnapped.everyone were running helter skelter to raise money for her release.of course not until the kidnappers demanded Ransome eventually the money was paid she was released.she was rushed to the hospital due to severe beating she received.after she got better the woman checked out of nigeria immediately.she said she's not coming back

Bottom line is to even do party and spray money is a security risk.youre exposing yourself to danger because some of the people at the party could be criminals.hide yourself.
