Hello house,

What are your thoughts on crowd funding agric investment going forward. Is it a stable environment? Some firms have collapsed while some are still going strong.

I just want to have a feel of the team here on this form of investment....

Merci
From what I read from the agritech thread and read, SEC has come into to sector to regulate it, as a result of this regulations most agritechs have left the space. Just wait for final resolution by SEC before you invest

When it comes to operations priorities differ in the various units of the Holding company. Realities differ from what is on paper most times. You should be able to get FBNQuest through FBN but it may waste your time. The best thing to do is for you to be at the specific company in the Holdco that is in charge of what you need. In this case go to FBNQuest at kaffi Ikoyi.
What is the current rate for VGIF?

They were warned. What do you expect.

A young guy who has never handled N5 million in his life, asked investors to invest about N20 million in his purported farm. At the end of the day he got over N100 million

Crude oil at about $70 per barrel, naira to dollar at over N400
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by skydiver01: 7:59am On Mar 12, 2021
This is another reason why it is good to have some passive income. It cushions many of these economic shocks. Some people will not even notice if petrol went to N500 a litre. lipsrsealed

2 Things I learnt on agritech space.
Never trust in the humility of the poor.
Never take financial advice or invest from a broke person.

Why should international oil price affect the price of fuel in Nigeria?
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by rotile247(m): 9:34am On Mar 12, 2021
Hamachi:
Why should international oil price affect the price of fuel in Nigeria?
It will continue to affect it because we import refined petroleum just as other countries without crude oil and importers/owners of refineries abroad make massive profit from it. The little ray of hope is when Dangote refinery starts full operation though price may not come down but price fluctuations would be reduced drastically while saving Forex for the country.

Not really Sir. If you buy Tbills of 364 days at 6.5% at the end of the year the investor in VGIF will have more returns.
Apart from the 4.5% Guaranteed rate, you will have additional returns which can take your total returns around 8% conservatively

Not only that, if sdf changes upward which is very likely judging from the economic realities your rate in VGIF changes upwards as well; This is not possible with Tbills.

Again in VGIF you can terminate your investment after six months without penalty but if you do that with Tbills the investor will not have the whole of 6.5%.

For me if tbills of 364 days is not up to 10% I will still prefer VGIF.

Any body with a suggestion of an android app I can use to manage all my portfolios across all segments; bonds, TB, stocks, MMF, crypto etc.

I have been using excel google sheets but it's not convenient. Just need an app where I can always have an overview of all assets and to always update it.

Thank you

In a terrible run and dishonest country like Nigeria....PPRA say they are not going to announce price of pms any more that we have deregulated ok. Fine ppmc has a way of leaking the offical memo communication to depot manager on the sale price online (clowns) then everbody follow suit and price is price by the leak memo ....clowns when the entire pms supply to Nigeria is done by NNPC ....so if NNPC is giving is giving total wouldnt they tell them price ...now the same PPRA has pasted it templates of 212 for pms and it sister agency is saying they have not increase price and have deregulated so why talk of price in a deregulated markets
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ahiboilandgas: 11:17am On Mar 12, 2021
Who talk of price of AGO ,ATK DPK and LPG.the price move by the market and doest need any PPRA announcement....if we can afford LPG we move to charcoal and make meals ...if we cant afford cars with v12 engine we move to v4 or bicycle

Now everbody know the template is 212 ..ok u want them to miraclousy sell to Nigerians at 163 in imaginary deregulated markets ....WE HAVE NOT INCREASE PRICE IN MARCH ...OK HOW ABOUT APRIL ? The 50 naira difference will cost a marketer 2.25m naira per truck added to the capital requirement from April so where will the new capital come from? BUHARI POCKETS ...even if the station plough back the entire sale bacj @163 x 45000 litres cannot buy the product in April @212x45000 litres
.....so station owner no go chop be that no go service loan or pay salary and to return all sale back to depot ......no wonder na racketeering fit Nigeria ...

I dont mean an app to use for investments.

i simply need an app which can even be used offline, where i will manually enter all my assets and their current values so that at a glance i can have an overview of my portfolio

Trekking is not a completely bad idea at this point. It's good for our heart and blood pressure.
Just carry umbrella, sunshade and bottle water.
