A 20-year-old alleged rapist, Quadri Azeez, who was dragged before Osogbo Magistrate Court, has confessed he feels like raping every girl that comes his way.

He blamed his misdeed on spiritual attack.

Azeez was arraigned by police before Chief Magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ayilara, on Friday on two counts of rape and assault.

The charge sheet brought by the Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun, read, “that you Quadri Azeez on March 6, 2021 at Ara area, Ede, unlawful have carnal knowledge and indecently assault one girl (name withheld) thereby committed an offence punishable under sections 358 and 360 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.”

Dr Ayilara refused to take the plea of the defendant.

He questioned why he was charged to court.

Azeez said: “I always feel like raping girls that come my way, I always feel unease when I sight any girl, my parent has been going about for spiritual solution to my problem before I rape this girl. This is the first girl I will ever rape.”

The Magistrate ordered that he should be remanded in Ilesha Correctional Centre and adjourned the case till March 15, 2021.

It does we have ex service employees who are ladies from the DSS working along side us.
They are profilers and analyst, from what I have deducted from trainings they provide to clients, wearing a jeans is 100 times lot safer than a dress or any dress that exposes the legs. The reason is because the jeans reduces the time required by the rapist to do their job. Which causes them to panic and make a run for it.
Every rapist have a set time to execute their act, it's subconsciously inbuilt in their mind.
When a Lady is on normal wears that exposes the legs up to the tighs rapist get more aggrevated thus they end up using Force which in some cases lead to bartering. The reason is because they always have a set time to work with.

Nigeria have many people with mental health issue and it's not a perfect environment were been civil is a priority for every citizens.

It's the reason we educate and train ladies in the art of easing, luring, entrapping and using disabling techniques in which pepper spray is one.
