Sheffield’s only away win this season was against United - in most big clubs, that is tantamount to a sackable offence.

I think you should watch Fred more critically. Study him and you’ll see his faults. He can be decent at times too- but this doesn’t mean he doesn’t disappoint in some areas.

I for one have said Fred can pass but he often misplaces passes because he is careless with the ball. It is that inconsistency in passing especially with simple passes that frustrates.

Fred should be converted into a dedicated ball winner with a strict instruction to only pass from 5 yards.

Otherwise, United should go and get Ndidi.
