You are right. He beat the keeper cleanly but was just unlucky to hit the post. If he had even passed to Rashford in that position he might have had to check back on his right to shoot and those desperado Wet Ham defenders might have crowded him out.

If a tap in is not available for a team mate Greenwood inside the box taking a clean shot on his left foot is almost always the best decision.
