If being shy creates discomfort the solution is to stop being shy to get comfortable. And what can make a grown ass person shy if he/she is not involved in something that is socially and morally unacceptable by the generality of society? Such a person must be suffering from a psychological, sociological or medical problem and needs to see a qualified and certified counsellor and physician. That's the best such a person can do. PeaceIlya: Introverts tend to be shy.... and if you define "uncomfortable" as being left out in conversations and networking, it's normal for introverts. Attend gatherings, you can start with a place you're very comfortable with, like your church, walk up to someone(not just anyone buh one who you like his/her vibe) and say let's be friends, if u a girl start with girls if u a guy start with guys. At first it can be quite a herculean task, buh trust me, it's gonna help u build your confidence. Also, watch your words don't get cut up in the moment, think before you speak, if you don't, being with you will be toxic. 21 Likes 1 Share |
