Royalty95:Hello Royalty95, This is what I will do: since it's urgent and if admission will be lost, I will apply to another DLI into same or similar study. Then, I will print out my shared email correspondence with responsible office and/or save it as a document to my device (phone, Ipad etc). To crown it all, with your boldness and confidence; this is what I will say if asked at the POE by a CBSA officer: "My school couldn't defer my admission. I got a late response from IRCC and it created a setback to meet up with registration... (or as it may suit the sitiation). So no other options than to seek for another admisison elsewhere, since I have already received my stamped passport back and since my travel itinerary has also been concluded; it was necessary that I must travel. My study leave of approval was only issued along with the duration my previous admission, I am in the look out so I don't violate my employer's work policy of missed deadline resumption date. I really value my job..." Keep both the new and old LOA in an accessible place when traveling, just in case either of both is asked. n.b: this transcript will be as fast within few (or very few) minutes. It will almost come as a reflex question, so, be alert to catch it when it try to fly; if you intend to follow this advice. Best of Luck |

Lekiboboe:Hello bro! In the moniker's situation, it is not required. In the situation that an application is still being processed, then the need is mandated. The worse situation if it will happen, the moniker can decide to updated the GcKey account—with the information of the new DLI without the need to advise IRCC via email or not—from outside Canada rather than to wait to do so from within Canada. Doing so from outside Canada is a compatible evidence to support your honest, but yet, logical explanations proving you're a genuine student as your only intent is to study. Cheers bro! |

kezee123:Hello Kezee123, Send a message to VFS. Inform them on the said subject and tell them you have evidence of an affidavit of lost passport/document to prove your honesty. If they request for the evidence, head to the court (or notary public) to get one. Otherwise, you may need to pay an extra fee equaling the transmission fee or as see fit by VFS. Best of Luck |

Chiscomax:Hello Chiscomax, This no longer concerns IRCC, but solely depends on the discretion of the CBSA officer at the POE to either allow you entry or not; in the case the officer ask a curious question in the regards and your response may determine the discretionary decision of the officer. I will say; be patient and do the change from within Canada without the need to even notify IRCC via your GcKey. Best of Luck |

Greatadams:Hello Greatadams, The officer has concerns with your funds, which was considered as borrowed funds due to the unexplained lump sum inflow(s). The officer also pointed out the poor financial strength of your sponsor. If possible, use your parent(s) as sponsor. Rework your sponsor and explanation letters with explicit reason for your study. Then hope for the best. |

Kayyyy:Hello Kayyyy, Big Congratulations. In addition: If there are other available and accessible options, a Diploma isn't advisable after a higher study except if the intent for the study is well expatiated, explicitly clear, and adequately justified. I believe this is your case with a sprinkle of grace. Again, Big Congratulations! Best of Luck |

Kayyyy:Hello Kayyyy, In reverse psychology, it will be inappropriate or wrong to advise or encourage anyone to opt for a Diploma after a first degree. Few applicants gets approval, but it doesn't mean it is the most appropriate approach especially when "study progression/career advancement is a rule to go by. Honestly, I understand your standpoint, but if sure advise or encouragement is given here; it may not speak well of the reputation of the thread. Hence, all advise dished here should be based on 'best practice.' An immigration lawyer or a well-grounded professional who is an expert in the field will never advise a prospect applicant to go for a Diploma after a first degree. If this happens, the concerned person (prospect applicant) should question the credibility and immigration knowledge of the party. In summary, the bolded isn't a well-thought comment (on the subject matter). Cheers and one love! |
