Macphenson:Stupid southerners aligned with the north to vote him out just as north and some southerners also voted obj instead of olu falae in 1999 presidential election. Amaechi, okorocha, and Tinubu championed revolution against GEJ. |

Jones4190:Above carp is ranting of ant. It is one of the nonsensical conjectures I have ever read. The piece lacked the decency of human intellect. The writer of the above junk dwelled in the falsehood which trailed blunder of the people called Ijaw or deluded minorities from the southern Nigeria. The nonsensical Oloibiri oil well could not even pay for the contractual bill when it ran dry. Nigeria did not get any revenue from the crude oil until 1961 when Owaza crude oil fields started pumping. In addition, eastern region was not a country and did not care what the deluded Adaka Boro did with himself. Nigerian armed forces tasked to secure the borders of Nigeria dealt with Adaka Boro. He was lucky the British touches on soldiers who arrested him were still intact. If they were soldiers of today, Adaka Boro would have been shot at sight. |

christistruth01:You guys are so wicked with your lies. So a Nigerian army that was killing civilians and even massacred women and children suddenly spared a Biafran soldier who killed one of their own? Adaka Boro that was not even killed in combat? Even if it was combat against the Biafrans, it would still be justified, but Boro was killed by his own troops. That';s why the lie about his death has been "under unknown circumstances". It beats me how any southerner would still be fooled. |

Jones4190:Oh! What a pity. This is my first time of hearing this. As an Igbo, if this is the truth, I am on my knees asking forgiveness over myself and my entire lineage over this injustice though i was not born then, and urge all Igbos to do so. Only the truth can set us free. To my Niger delta brothers, please let us know that manipulation is the only thing they use in holding us down. They pit us against each other, they use religion, and so on just to see we are not united because once we are united, we are free from their shackles. So let us forgive each other, forget and forge a common strong front. |

Nigeriabiafra82:Why are arguing so passionately about this after more than 50years?? U cannot bring back the past or live in the past. Let’s move on and talk about the future. Good luck was there for 7years and nobody was arguing aburi accord. Good luck cudnt also restructure Nigeria because it’s not that simple, there are steps and we need to 1st define those steps based on the law and choose exactly what to restructure. |

Jones4190:Bros, your post is seething with lies, hatred and toxicity. Your heros, Ken and Isaac Boro, who for pecuniary gains betrayed Biafra were gruesomely murdered by the same people that used them. And you, out of incurable obsession with hatred for the Igbos still can not read the handwriting on the wall. |

gidgiddy:The decree which killed regionalism in Nigeria. Gowon killed regionalism in Nigeria. However the revisionists in Nigeria who believed there is something such true or false federalism will point at decree 34 which sort to create uniform civil service in Nigeria as the killer of regionalism on Nigeria. The essence of decree 34 is still used in Nigeria till date. |

tiredoflife:Bro the fools forgot that eastern region was not a country. The idiotic airhead called Adaka Boro showed his inherent stupidity when fought along Nigerian vandals to uphold One-Nigeria which had sought to partition. He was killed by Nigerian elites who have seen his stupidity from his shadow. |

Jones4190:See how your enemies are thumbing you up, assuming you are truly from the SS, but 95% in doubt that you are from the SS. Genuine SS people who want Nigerdelta Republic know that it’s easier for Niger Delta Republic to emerge from Biafra, but next to impossible for Niger Delta Republic to emerge from Nigeria. And who do you think you are for representing the opinions of people from the SS? I even doubt that you are from the SS, given your derision of the Igbo. Igbo are also distributed in nearly all the states in the SS. Aboki of one Nigeriyaa for ever is what you represent. Aboki lives and survives from one Nigeria. |

christistruth01:Lt Col Alabi Isama was not even two miles from the sector where Adaka Boro was killed. In his book, Alabi reiterated the same killer squad that murdered Adaka Boro was meant to kill him and Alani Akinrinade too. I have Alabi's book and would want to know which pages displayed the alleged Biafran soldier who killed Adaka Boro. |

ScamHunter:I believe you too. The thing is that we were not born when those events took place and so such stories can only be evaluated through logic. Also, sometimes some grey area would be painted off just to hide some truths or to tweak the motives. I think as at the time of Isaac Boro protests, Nigeria as a country was well regionised and each region was quite autonomous. So there was no urgent need for secession. However when the northern elites began to kill easterners, it was clear that the seeds sown by our founding fathers of the type of nation this country can thrive on have been thwarted, oneness was no longer teneble. One part of the country have begun to see themselves as primary citizens. I believe in restructuring based on the 1960 model, but I also know that it will never happen again. So the only way to survival is to divide. Divided We Stand. |

Arewa soldiers had since restructured Nigeria politically by creating too many states and political constituencies in Arewa, thus gave absolute political powers to Arewa politicians. If you are a southern Nigerian, remain the second class citizen brought to all in the south by political restructuring done by Arewa soldiers. Soldiers don’t create political structure and constitution of a country formed by different regions. Show us any modern country where soldiers from one part of the country created political structure and supervised the country’s Constitution? Doesn’t exist except Nigeria. You think berating people from one part of Nigeria solves your political problems in Nigeria? christistruth01: |
