I know that feeling... the most important thing is for him never to give up.

It is not by how early one gained admission, but by graduating with a good grade and securing a job.

They were some persons who graduated before I did in 2008 but I was surprised at how some of them are still behind me in some spheres today.

One of my courageous friend ****** was once in his shoes, he refused to give up and today he's gainfully employed with a better pay than most of us who graduated even before him.

You see! Life is like a flow chart, so many ups and downs.

I've got dis really depressed friend of mine who needs help.
He's 19 years old, he finished his secondary school education at the age of 15 and since then he has been trying to get an admission into the University. What makes his case curious is that he is not a dull person. He started writing jamb while he was in ss2, he scored 200, applied for uniben post utme scored 49 and he wasn't given admission.
In ss3 he wrote again but dis time the results were not released because of exam malpractice in his exam centre,this happened in the year 2012.
In 2013 he applied for jamb choosing the Nigeria Defense Academy and scored 202. He subsequently went for the entrance exams and he was invited for screening. In July 2013 he went for d screening and passed all d screening tests but when the admission list was released he was placed on the reserve list and was told to wait for an invitation from the academy before he could resume training. He waited and waited but there was no invitation. So he applied for jamb again in 2014 and still choosed the Nigeria Defense Academy, he scored 206, went for the NDA entrance exams and was invited. Unfortunately for him, hw fell very ill(pneumonia), so he couldn't go for the screening. While he was recovering he applied for putme of the federal University Otuoke to study physics and electronics and gained admission. He's father is a dental technogist and around that time, all medical practitioners were on strike, so he couldn't pay the school fees because he wasn't working and the school fees was fairly high for a government owned University (about 80k). Because of that he had to forfeit his admission.
In January this year he applied for the University of calabar pre degree program with a friend. In March when the pre-degree admission list were released his friend's name was on the list but his name was not.
I then persuaded him to apply for pti effurun entrance exams. He applied and wrote the exams now the results are out and he scored 72. According to what I've heard his chances of getting an admission into the school is very low. He is now very frustrated and looks miserable, I don't even know what to say to make him feel better. Pls do not insult the poor fellow.
