Bacteria8:You're one of them, right?😂 Attached below is the answer to your question🤧
|
Mbappe making the "Madrid Fans" who campaigned, signed, and promoted the comical "Mbappe Out" petition to look like the fööls they are😂😂 |
Mbappe already has 6 goals and 2 assists. Could have easily added 2 more assists this game if Olise was clinical with the chances he created. Yet someone go tag am say he no get "natural talent" like Okocha💔😭😂😂. |
I got the physical interview invite too. Mine is on the 6th of July. What can we expect, any free resources/pointers? |
Kipaji:Perfectly said, babes rarely bill guys they hold in high regard as long as they aren't dating the guy, cos the risk of chasing such guys away (due to the billing) isn't worth it to them. Na, why once a girl you meet recently starts throwing petty billing towards you as a guy, just know she's aware of the risk involved and doesn't care if she chases you away, as the potential of getting money from you is more important to her than the continuous friendship/interaction with you (serious cases like life/death scenarios might be exempted). |
Portugal might have bottled their first place (and opportunity for an easier pathway), but hope still dey sha😂. Either my crook or HaramBall or benching CR7, anyway is welcomed as long as they make this pathway a reality and secure the cup for the GOAT o 🤲🏽😂😂. |
James Rodriguez be casually balling hard in a big WC game after years of football wilderness😂. Ngl 2013-2017 version of James was top-level stuff and first-half season at Everton, a top baller who unfortunately suffered from lack of No.10 role in KCM Midfield💯 |
Bellingham coming in clutch with a goal and an assist, and poised to collect another B2B MOTM award, yet the majority of England's "so-called fans" wanted him benched or at worst dropped for this WC😭😂. The jokes always write themselves😂 |
School is not yet a scam, but the competition level for the few opportunities is crazy. Nigeria produces roughly say 600-700K graduates each year, with around 450-500K passing out from NYSC each year. But roughly 70% of these graduates (especially Polytechnics and CoE, or 2:2/3rd class BSc ) can't easily crack into the majority of the entry-level roles that pays decently. The majority of the Banks, Consultancy, Financial, etc. now pay 500K-ish per month at Entry-level, with the O/G sector paying multiple times that level (the best paying one). Each year, there are maybe around 10K-ish Graduate/Entry-level openings combined nationwide (~ 2% of the graduate population) that pay decently (say 300K+/month range), but such opportunities are favorably skewed to BSc. 2:1 Engineering/Sciences/Finance/Accounting/Law/Medicine et. al. graduates. That's why these days I do advise SSCE students to grind hard to enter good University programs and leave all these easy Polytechnic admissions or courses (and also try to enter school on time to beat GT age-restrictions) because the best bet for the child of a common man to get a good entry-level job in Nigeria as a graduate is via these GT openings. Though many graduates now earn decently from legit online hustles too (freelancing, content creation et al) and business; but many people still eat good in Nigeria with their academic degree. So School isn't scam for those categories. |
MorataFC:I get your point, the pass mark for group stage (in this current format) is 32/48 (66.7%). So if CAF does 80% (could even be 90%), they have done well so far. In the previous WC format of 32 teams, 16/32 go through = 50%. Yet we hardly get 2/5 (40%) qualification rate, which happened only in 2014 and 2022. This is why I said, based on the current situation, CAF is easily outperforming everyone's expectations. From RO32, we will continue analyzing CAF qualification performance. If 3/8 or even 2/8 makes it through to RO16 then CAF is still on course to beat previous WC performances. |
andrewbaba44:Cape Verde really tried o, they were the least ranked country in their group and the 5th lowest overall and 2nd smallest nation (after Curaçao). So for them to finish 2nd in their group without losing despite facing Spain and Uruguay (even though it was all draws), omo them really tried. Africa/CAF can easily do 80% (8/10) qualification at this point, or even 9/10. Early days, but this is looking like the Best African WC performance so far. |
popizaino:You can make a similar clip for Messi, CR7, R9, Maradona, and any other attacker. Doesn't mean shit, every attacker misses, that's how football works🤧 |
Godx:In football, there are different skills, e.g for attacking players: technique, shooting, pace, dribbling, passing, creativity, ball heading, spatial awareness, crossing (for wingers) etc. A player can be insanely good with some of these attributes e.g Kroos was god-tier in Technique and Passing, but an average dribbler yet any good footballing head would see his "natural talent". Same thing for KDB with god-tier creativity and average dribbling. Anyone who watches Mbappe enough since his breakthrough and still doesn't see the god-tier "natural ability" in him obviously leans towards close-control/ball-hugging dribblers, so there isn't much point debating against such a person (football rating is mostly about preference at the end of the day). My main issue is when the same category expects their opinion to hold as facts. As a Madrid fan, I typically use this 2 matchups against PSG to compare Neymar vs Mbappe: 2017/18 UCL RO16, Neymar dribbled our defenders countless times (maybe up to 10 times), yet we won 3-1 that first leg and qualified quite easily. Compared to 2021/22 RO16 vs the same PSG, where Mbappe delivered arguably the best individual performances against Madrid in UCL ever (for me, that remains my number 1). We still qualified, but only by luck IMO. Now ask most casual football fans to rate those two players' performances, and you won't be surprised if Neymar's fancy flicks top. The summary: The majority of football viewers put more emphasis on dribbling than they should when rating football ability. |
raumdeuter:Exactly. This is the same reason many people keep mentioning Neymar as the 3rd best player of the CR7/Messi era, like it is the hard truth. I have seen many comparisons that favors dribblers over players who are actually better than them e.g Hazard >>> Bale, or Neymar having "natural talent" than CR7 etc. Until casual football viewers understand that dribbling or ball hugging doesn't equate "natural talent", we will continue seeing such ridiculous takes as the majority opinion. |
You see some people's list Neymar, Okocha, Messi, Yamal, Iniesta etc. as "generational talent", but omit players like Mbappe, Haaland who were beast at 17-19yos destroying UCL and WC records (and even omitted CR7 that finished 3rd at FIFA World best and 2nd in Balon d'or at 22). It should be obvious to you that such person rate shakushaku and dribbling over actual top-level footballing abilities. Same category would likely rate Cherki as better player than say KDB, or Isco >> Kroos et al ![]() |
pu7pl3:A. Pepe B. Roberto Carlos C. Higuain D. Zidane E. Bale This should be the correct list. |
Nezzjnr:But no Barca crest for R9 for B? |
andrewbaba44:Tears ke? Even Neymar wey Brazilians typically rate among their GOATs never played a WC semifinal or even win a Copa America, na kon Vini you Dey expect to win WC?😂 We just want our boy to enjoy, baila, dance, and have a good tournament. A semifinal finish with good stats would surpass our expectations o😂 |
andrewbaba44:At least his form is better than your Raphinha with zero WC goal or assist to his name at 29yo 😭😂. How come? He also only has a single goal at Copa America with zero assists there too. Unfortunately, Vini needs better supporting cast to enjoy a better international career, and players like Raphinha (the supposed 2nd best Brazil player?) with their poverty tournament stats aren't helping matters😂.
|
At least the whole "international career" diss, haters typically use to belittle Vini would reduce after this 2026WC. 4 goals and 1 assist so far, among the leading contenders for Golden Ball/Boot. Finally living up to the tag of "Star Player of Brazil", you would love to see it!🇧🇷 |
Illimitable:lol, I guess you don't even know your football well enough. R9 played most of his career in the normal 32-team UCL format. End of argument abeg😂.
|
Illimitable:R9 never won a UCL, and he still gets mentioned in the GOAT debate. CR7 only had 1 UCL and 1 Balon d'Or until he was 28yo. There is enough time for a 27yo Mbappe to do more and extend his legacy for sure. But even as of today, he has done enough to sit among the legends of the 1990s and 2000s era. |
Illimitable:You can't use stats favorably to win a R9 vs Mbappe argument cos Mbappe has had numerous 30+ goals seasons and multiple 40+ goals seasons since he started his career; he even had a 70+ G+A season in 2021/22. So stat-wise, Mbappe beats R9 for sure and he is still 27 years, with maybe at least 5-6 more top-level seasons to come. You can use maybe "eye test", "aura", "football being easier now" points, but going with stats (and achievements), the earlier argument of Mbappe >> R9, Henry, Ronaldinho is valid. Like you can project Mbappe to end his career with almost 30 World Cup goals if he plays 2 more tournaments, and such predictions would seem realistic. |
TheSuperNerd:Cape Verde has impressed me the most, while Egypt, Ghana, and Morocco have all done well so far. Senegal has been the most disappointing one, but a win vs Iraq in their last game can still secure one of the best losers (3rd place) spots. Overall African teams have been quite solid so far. 6 or 7/10 should probably make it through to the next round. Not bad at all. |
mikeapollo:Thanks for this explanation. |
Why is Aradel accumulating forex translation losses, leading to comprehensive loss and reduced equity? Abi them been obtain dollar-based assets at a higher rate then? Cos IMO, if they maintain this Q1 form for the rest of the year, their 2026 FY dividend is likely not to be attractive (that’s if they pay at all). My own layman's understanding of the result at first glance. |
CIV goal keeper got lucky there with the disallowed goal. BTW Diomande with €120M price tag, another potential Bundesliga scam? Let the audition watch continue ![]() |
CrystalTiger:Ivory Coast (CIV) already did. |
1st Image: Even Punch News carried the story as if it was a recent gist. 2nd and 3rd Image: Older publications of the same story in Nov 2025. 9ja Media should do better with all this recycling of older stories (including images and videos) as new ones.
|
MorataFC:Sorry my bad, fake news na serious issue for 9ja media space. You're right, just checked and can confirm that the 90 days ultimatum mesaage was actually an old recycled news from November 2025 (related to the Trump's government initial threat to 9ja during the Christian genocide discussion). This probably strengthens the earlier argument that Pa Adeboye "seems more lenient" towards Tinubu government insecurity crisis over Jonathan cos reading the full transcript it seems more like a friendly advice than criticism compared to the Jonathan's transcript of 2010 Independence message and the rumored planned of a protest (even though it didn't later happen). Just my opinion though. P.S.: I am not even interested in the whole argument. I only decided to drop a comment because you were accusing others of the same bias your posts showed. |
MorataFC:Omo even you that is accusing others of being "agenda driven" is also obviously pushing an Agenda. FYI Tinubu has already done 3yrs of his administration, yet you first used 2yrs for him and now less than 3yrs when comparing to Jonathan's and Buhari's? Also, your whole point of "number of times" isn't really solid cos anyone can easily see the intensity of Pa Adeboye's criticism of Jonathan vs Tinubu, is it comparable? 9ja politics will always be agenda-driven in the eyes of differing groups, so no need for pot calling kettle black here. All that matter is that the call-outs and online backlash eventually yielded a positive result (the 90-days ultimatum message) so at the end it was a net-positive thing. |
yMcy56:Exactly💯. I also recently had to open with another broker because of this same concerns. Hopefully, they will improve on that going forward. deathwing:Your own case is strange cos my cscs statement gets updated. I don't know the channels for complaints so can't say anything about that. Just keep trying to force your complaints. Our 9ja stock market system/structure isn't perfect yet and still crude compared to developed markets like LSE, NYSE. But at least they are improving small small, e.g the recent changes from T+3 to T+2 and now T+1, extension of trading hours etc. More room for improvements, unfortunately for now we still have to deal with issues like yours. But still IMO, the direct CSCS online access is helpful if you can afford the yearly charge, especially for people with decent portfolio size. |
