Spain to win 1-0 joor ![]() See them Messi fanboys trying to gaslight us CR7 fans to support Argentina over Spain cos of 1 goal 0 assists Yamal, like if we no sabi say Messi still needs a 2nd WC win to truly kill the older GOAT contenders like Pele and Maradona?😂 Very slick fanbase sha with good Agenda turning ability😂 Spain wins tonight, this one too sure. Make una GOAT collect small L too to end his WC legacy, him sef don try. Still and still, the pre-2014 knee-injured version of CR7 remains the greatest/best player to ever kick a football ![]() |
pu7pl3:Exactly ![]() |
pu7pl3:I was even talking about only WC stats |
Theflint1:The North remembers… History will definitely be very kind to Mbappe once his ends his career with his crazy records and achievements. |
Madrid's top players came out of this WC with improved reputation. Vini? He finally ended the “poor player for his country” narrative with 3 MOTMs, 4 goals, and was easily Brazil's best player (and one of the best overall players at the WC before Brazil got KOed). Mbappe? Nuff said about him. He has gone from not getting mentioned in this year's Balon d’Or debate at the start of the WC to now being a Top 3 favorite. Bellingham? Man finally earned the respect of the hating fanbase of other clubs with such a masterclass tournament. He deserves the Bronze Ball after Messi and Mbappe win Golden/Silver Balls. Also winning a Bronze Boot. Nice things to have at 23yo. More greatness to come for sure, the closest thing we have seen to Zidane and Kaka class of Midfielders. Tchouameni? Despite the backlash against him after the Spain loss. Yesterday’s game proved once again that he is still France's best central midfielder. He outshines Kone and Rabiot by far, whose average ability killed France IMO, not the other way around. Our full-back signings in Cucurella and Dumfries also impressed in this WC. Only Konate was mediocre (but to his defense, he didn't get reasonable minutes as the 4th choice CB). Valverde and Guler were the only disappointing ones but they still didn't drop a poor tournament, just a poor overall team performance for both of them. |
pu7pl3:How many WC goals and G/As do you reckon Mbappe would be by the end of his career? Tbh the way he’s moving at WC level is crazy this point. 50 G/As or at least 40 G/As is looking realistic at this point cos he is still only 27!
|
Mbappe having 22 WC goals and 6 assists at 27yo, with possible 3 more WC tournaments to farm dey really scare most of these Messianic cult fanbase ![]() Don't bother hating the man cos he will definitely end his WC career with at least 30-40 goals and 40-50 G/As range. Maybe na by that time you all will finally give him his flowers. Man is pulling UCL career stats of top players like Suarez in a once-in-4yrs 8 game tournament, and you wan hate watch am? Future premium tears await you o😹

For Yamal, he doesn't deserve any Balon d’Or, as he never lit up this WC to match the level of the hype (no KO goals, less impact in the big KO games). He still has only 1 goal so far in this WC with zero assists. I am even surprised that the Media are trying to push him as the 2nd favorite for the Balon d’Or after Messi. Even if Spain wins, Messi would be the more deserving winner for the Balon d’Or or even Kane or Mbappe (very unlikely, but him scoring 1-2 goals vs England to win the golden boot might help his case slightly, especially if Messi/Yamal both have a mediocre final performance). A Spain WC win will be more of a team effort, just like their 2010 WC win. Individually, Oyazarbal, Rodri, Olmo, and all of Spain’s backline made a bigger impact than Yamal, so any deluded Barca fanboy trying to glaze over the kid as a potential GOAT contender still has to chill for him to show actual workings, not hype. If 19yo Mbappe didn't get compared to CR7 after scoring 4 goals (including important KO goals and also in the final) when he won his own WC, then why would anyone entertain a less stellar Yamal WC win? I love banters, but only someone stupid would entertain any Yamal vs CR7 banter, even if he scores a hat-trick in the final. Yamal is still trying to do what Mbappe already did at a similar age, albeit in a less spectacular manner. Let him achieve that feat first before we take him seriously cos fancy dribbling with no end product hype wouldn't take him anywhere close to a GOAT debate. YES, Messi can have his 9th Balon d’Or, doesn't make any difference in the grand scheme of things. I would have preferred Kane winning it, but I can't see him pulling good numbers from the voting journalists, compared to Messi, Yamal (the least deserving contender by miles), or even Mbappe, who all have greater public appeal over Kane. |
Spain winning this WC doesn't really change much for all these Barca fanboys trying to push their La Masia boys Agenda. Pedri? He lost his starting shirt eventually; even bench warmers in Merino had a bigger impact than him. Rodri and Olmo are the two main superstars from Spain’s midfield, not Pedri, who will likely start the final from the bench again. Merino and injury-recovering Fabian Ruiz deserve more mention before Pedri. Bellingham has 6 goals and 1 assist vs Pedri with zero goals or assists, benched for all QF/SF/Final games? You can't name the top 5 best players so far in this WC without including Bellingham’s name. So how does Spain winning the WC help the 0 G/A bench warmer in any Pedri vs Bellingham debate? Post-WC26, Bellingham has actually gotten the bigger credits from this WC amongst the Bellingham vs Vitinha vs Pedri trio; a Spain WC win doesn't change that fact . |
Chisomimelda:It wasn't bad at all, but slightly intense even though the panelists tried to calm me down multiple times . There were 3 panelists for mine: 2 people from different LoS and 1 lady from HR (People & Culture). As expected, they started with the random/impromptu topic discussion (7 minutes was the duration, but I didn't use up to that for mine). Then the behavioral questions followed, then a little bit of previous work experience (just one question here for me), and they switched to asking about intended LoS and specific division under the LoS towards the end, and finally, an opportunity for you to ask them questions. The total duration can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the length of your responses to the questions. For me, maybe I could've done better with my answers sha, but it was still kinda okay-ish overall. The HR lady said that their expected start date is October. Just try to be more confident and even a bit casual/friendly while talking to them, that should help more IMO. |
King2019:You know your football my man💯🤝 |
monerozi5590:Not sure about here, but them many for ManagingMadrid site ![]() |
Godx:This is the exact reason I have been hitting on the whole "ball-hugging" thing. Imagine downplaying Bellingham's greatness even after such a Masterclass 2023/24 season (a.k.a Smellingham) just because he doesn't do 100 sideways and back passes per game or twist waist with aimless 360 degree turns to claim "Midfield work" . Even some Madrid fans fell for the ball-hugging scam and hype up Pedri/Vitinha over our very own golden boy ![]() |
Bellingham, one of the most clutch players in World Football. Everytime I hear people hyping up Pedri vs Bellingham, I Dey always laugh😂. Worst when it's even a self-professed "Madrid fan". Bellingham is HIM! |
Haaland now has 62 goals in 54 International Apps, 7 WC goals in 4 Apps; yet someone somewhere will open mouth to say Haaland no get talent or is less naturally talented than shaku-shaku players like Okocha, Cherki, Isco them ![]() |
Kimbeast:Barca/Messi fan boys wey don Dey beef Mbappe since his PSG days because he outshined their Ewure . Naturally CR7 fans has more like for Mbappe because of similarities between CR7 profile with Mbappe and also the whole backstory of Mbappe being a childhood fanboy of CR7/Madrid. Any other thing na Agenda o ![]() |
Ibukzy:FIFA suspension of Red Card ban before World Cup is not a new thing. They suspended Otamendi's ban for Argentina too, same thing for Caceido for Ecuador and other examples. What is rare is suspending ban of red card issued in a WC itself, I think this Balogun one is the first time it has happened, so it isn't the same thing with CR7's. Make una Messi fans Dey try calm down for this una Agenda abeg ![]() |
Neymar1095:No wonder, I was surprised he didn't start. Thanks |
Upamechanic has been the "best player" on the pitch so far o No wonder Deschamps dey always start am ![]() Tchouameni should enter for Kone as halftime sub, maybe game fit change small. |
Ogumepon Snr didn't break Ogumepon Jnr 1st KO goal record, at least Andrewbaba and his likes can rest small now ![]()
|
andrewbaba44:Olorogun Ogunmepon dey try follow una GOAT pathway so abeg wait for Croatia match, make he try match the 1st goal in 9th game milestone ![]()
|
Bacteria8:You're one of them, right?😂 Attached below is the answer to your question🤧
|
Mbappe making the "Madrid Fans" who campaigned, signed, and promoted the comical "Mbappe Out" petition to look like the fööls they are😂😂 |
Mbappe already has 6 goals and 2 assists. Could have easily added 2 more assists this game if Olise was clinical with the chances he created. Yet someone go tag am say he no get "natural talent" like Okocha💔😭😂😂. |
I got the physical interview invite too. Mine is on the 6th of July. What can we expect, any free resources/pointers? |
Kipaji:Perfectly said, babes rarely bill guys they hold in high regard as long as they aren't dating the guy, cos the risk of chasing such guys away (due to the billing) isn't worth it to them. Na, why once a girl you meet recently starts throwing petty billing towards you as a guy, just know she's aware of the risk involved and doesn't care if she chases you away, as the potential of getting money from you is more important to her than the continuous friendship/interaction with you (serious cases like life/death scenarios might be exempted). |
Portugal might have bottled their first place (and opportunity for an easier pathway), but hope still dey sha😂. Either my crook or HaramBall or benching CR7, anyway is welcomed as long as they make this pathway a reality and secure the cup for the GOAT o 🤲🏽😂😂. |
James Rodriguez be casually balling hard in a big WC game after years of football wilderness😂. Ngl 2013-2017 version of James was top-level stuff and first-half season at Everton, a top baller who unfortunately suffered from lack of No.10 role in KCM Midfield💯 |
Bellingham coming in clutch with a goal and an assist, and poised to collect another B2B MOTM award, yet the majority of England's "so-called fans" wanted him benched or at worst dropped for this WC😭😂. The jokes always write themselves😂 |
School is not yet a scam, but the competition level for the few opportunities is crazy. Nigeria produces roughly say 600-700K graduates each year, with around 450-500K passing out from NYSC each year. But roughly 70% of these graduates (especially Polytechnics and CoE, or 2:2/3rd class BSc ) can't easily crack into the majority of the entry-level roles that pays decently. The majority of the Banks, Consultancy, Financial, etc. now pay 500K-ish per month at Entry-level, with the O/G sector paying multiple times that level (the best paying one). Each year, there are maybe around 10K-ish Graduate/Entry-level openings combined nationwide (~ 2% of the graduate population) that pay decently (say 300K+/month range), but such opportunities are favorably skewed to BSc. 2:1 Engineering/Sciences/Finance/Accounting/Law/Medicine et. al. graduates. That's why these days I do advise SSCE students to grind hard to enter good University programs and leave all these easy Polytechnic admissions or courses (and also try to enter school on time to beat GT age-restrictions) because the best bet for the child of a common man to get a good entry-level job in Nigeria as a graduate is via these GT openings. Though many graduates now earn decently from legit online hustles too (freelancing, content creation et al) and business; but many people still eat good in Nigeria with their academic degree. So School isn't scam for those categories. |
MorataFC:I get your point, the pass mark for group stage (in this current format) is 32/48 (66.7%). So if CAF does 80% (could even be 90%), they have done well so far. In the previous WC format of 32 teams, 16/32 go through = 50%. Yet we hardly get 2/5 (40%) qualification rate, which happened only in 2014 and 2022. This is why I said, based on the current situation, CAF is easily outperforming everyone's expectations. From RO32, we will continue analyzing CAF qualification performance. If 3/8 or even 2/8 makes it through to RO16 then CAF is still on course to beat previous WC performances. |
andrewbaba44:Cape Verde really tried o, they were the least ranked country in their group and the 5th lowest overall and 2nd smallest nation (after Curaçao). So for them to finish 2nd in their group without losing despite facing Spain and Uruguay (even though it was all draws), omo them really tried. Africa/CAF can easily do 80% (8/10) qualification at this point, or even 9/10. Early days, but this is looking like the Best African WC performance so far. |
