decrox199: "I Did Not Write Any Letter to My Father, IYABO OBASANJO Speaks Out! December18, 2013 IYABO OBASANJO (On Rainbow FM): > "I have never seen or heard this sort of fabrication in my entire life! I, IYABO OBASANJO never contemplate writing a letter to my Loving Father. I speak with him almost on daily bases. "Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo is the best father in the world. He gave birth to me, he raise me up and gave me the best of Education. I wouldn't have achieve whatever I did without my father. IN FACT, WHO AM I WOTHOUT MY FATHER? "As a father he never disappoint his children in any way, he is a father anybody wish to have. "If President Jonathan want to reply the letter my father wrote him, he should be man enough to reply direct. Why are they trying to make me a scape goat? I know my father very well and I don't question his judgement, I believe my father wrote his letter in the best intrest of the nation. If Mr. President disagree with some of the allegations in the latter, let him be man enough to talk directly to my father, he should stop involving me in an issue I know nothing about. "How can you write a letter to insult my father and claim I, the daughter is the source. If that is how Ijaw people insult their father, I am a Yoruba Woman, we respect our parent in all circumstances. "I IYABO OBASANJO did not write any letter. Nigerians should please take note. "The purported letter is a malicious lies intended to rubish the good name of my family, when I get to the source of the letter, I will waste no time to take the necessary legal actions. "I love my father and I never disrespect him."Lol.. Very poor way to discredit the original letter.. She hardly talked directly about GEJ in her letter.. But here, she's bashing him in a manner very typical of the moronick rodents on NL.. To whoever wrote this junk, I'll say, "YOU CAN DO BETTER" ![]() |

InesQor: Well said! We should not forget that translations can tend to cause a loss of perspective if one is not careful. So when you stand before God on judgement day, this is what you'll read to Him? Or is this what you'll teach your children? |
bizibrain: It seems u dont get my argument.K ![]() |
safarigirl: are you schizophrenic? The speed with which you progressed from 'the pattern is ok' to 'dis is d worst jersey 2 av been designed 4 NIGERIA TRASH' is alarming. @topic, the jerseys look ok though I'm against the mixture of dark and lemon green. I want to see the away kit, hope the jerseys fit this time, sick of seeing Ahmed Musa looking like a mouse attached to a kite whenever he's running. Yes, the one by the nairalander is a thousandHahaha.. U don finish Musa ![]() |

Ola Johnson: The failure to recognize Nigeria, nay the President of Nigeria has to do more with the occupant of that office. I doubt if the same thing would have happened if, say, Olusegun Obasanjo was the President. Its your OBJ that sleeps off at UN meetings, takes 45Mins to read a single page letter that'll be respected.. Well sha, every child thinks his mother's food is the best |
vicoloni: I had refrained from joining any school of thought on Nigeria's political arena for many reasons but after reading this piece I am forced to express my utter disappointment and disgust in the way Mr. President is running the affairs of this great nation called Nigeria.Stick to the topic bro.. Be constructive! Don't use the 'market woman' approach at every opportunity. We're not talking about Presidents, we're talking about Nigeria.. Wouldn't be any different at the funeral, with any of your preferred options on board.. Sad reality though.. |
Thats a worldclass write-up.. Best ive read in awhile.. |

A girl wont sit n let u wash her briefs.. She's too 'shy' to let that happen.. Funny, she'll wash your briefs if you're a 'clean' guy with a good sense of hygiene. My girl washes ma briefs.. But she wont let me wash hers, and really, she's the cleanest n neatest girl i've met.. ![]() Love Rocks |
I used to think I was the only one who feels this way regarding must of the nigerian so called hit tracts. Glad to know others also notices them. Most of these songs get me disgusted. Virtually all of these artists today only sell beats cos in terms of lyrics, its all nonsense. You can't even take anything out of there songs. Let them learn from some of these western artist like taylor swift, katy perry, pink, and the like. When you listen to their songs, you feel the message, not all these trash we have here
I remember the first time I listened to taylor swift's romeo n juliet... My phone downloaded the lyrics.. As I read n listened, I was caught up in the sheer beauty of the song.. I almost cried at the end.. Thats an experience u never get in naija music.. |

umar745: kai! Stop it. Except the lawyer would work for absolutely free she doesn't need him. I've done what she wants to do b4 and I didn't need or use a lawyer. Lawyers would just charge avoidable feesWho said it'll be free? The lawyer is very understanding.. He helped us in despicable ways really.. Anyway, twas just a help plan to a concerned woman, not to you( with due respect).. |
Imanda: Presently, I am a victim of this ADMINISTRATION LETTER. I just lost my husband and wanted to get the pension deductions. The process is like passing through the needles eyes. I met a law firm who demanded N100,000 before they will start processing the letter . I have to give up even when i know i needed the money to pay the children's bills. STANBIC IBTCSorry about your husband's loss.. Im passing tru a similar situation.. And i found out certain things the hard way. i can get you a lawyer that'll assist you with the letter from the court. You'll present that to the branch your husband opened his running account( the one ibtc pays monthly into)... They'll release the bank draft which you'll present to the government.. The government will take a certain percentage of your husband's account statement( if there's no will), before releasing the letter. And they may ask you to provide two sureties with landed properties. You can then proceed to ibtc as well with the letter, carrying along your husband's death certificate or obituary( also need above). they'll forward your application to Pencom.. Dunno how long that'll take, but suhd be released.. Its not a pleasing experience, so brace up for it. May God strengthen you, and Grant you supernatural favour.. |
Lost my dad 2 years ago, n till now, its been an absolute nightmare with Both IBTC and Pencom...Now to get the letter of administration is a fresh headache.... Honestly, I'd rather invest my pension money directly on my children, then leave this world and leave them stranded.. its horribly unfair.. And they tend to do this to the defenseless.. ![]() |
Its rather sad, cos im well briefed on this matter.. The traditional healer is actually a registered psychiatrist.. The family of the girl bundled her to his place, claiming she's insane.. He tested her, then took her in.. Only for the police to arrive the next day, n bundle him up, after beating him right before his family. They claimed she was kidnapped.. Im dating the man's daughter, so I know the story.. Babe wey suppose con see me dis weekend, see as runs just spoil! ![]() |
Received the news with shock. We spoke on skype some months ago.. Knew him so well..Played network games back in school.. Nicest guy you'll ever meet.. So sad.. |
Covenant university has this card since 2005.. Next! |
I once drove my boss's v8 4Runner.. As my first time in a V-rated vehicle, I was really impressed with the quick acceleration, and the handling was good.. Didn't know when I hit 140.. It felt very comfortable, but I resisted moving faster. Where am I rushing to? Now I hate my good o'l mazda.. |
We've come to the age where the level of deception in the world will rise astronomically.. Where the leaders will abandon the truth, and instead tell you wat you like to hear.. The era of false prophecy and false teachings.. Jesus warned us long ago. Many false prophets and teachers are out in the world today.. Take heed.God is not mocked, and His standards will not change for anyone.. |
spongeback: Old Testament, in the New Testament Jesus tore the curtain in the temple which signifies liberty. You can come worship God just as you are in spirit and in truth. The new testament came to confirm the old testament.. They're both from God, and He'll NEVER lower His standards for you, me,or anyone.. In your quote,'just as you are',and 'spirit and truth' are completely different.. Pls o, read God's word with understanding, so you dont get a rude shock on judgement day. God bless you |
Careful what you say.. It can be a deciding factor to your fate on judgement day. God is no respecter of persons.. His standard will never change... |
For me its White House Down. I've seen both movies. White House Down, though a copycat of Olympus has fallen is way better. Gerard Butler's role can't be compared to Channing Tatum's role. We also saw the president in WHD (Jamie Foxx) in action also (with his sneakers lol), but the president in OHF was ineffective. Both films allows the leading character(s) (Butler, Tatum) to have a road to redemption (proving their worth). Beyond that it’s a tale of heroics, and since Channing Tatum has a daughter in his film, we need to give the edge to White House Down here. What stakes are bigger when you have to save both the President and your own daughter?
BRILLIANT! |
Olympus has fallen takes the prize for me... 1)Jamie fox, great actor. Didn't really give me the 'presidential appeal' i sought to see. I saw him not too long in Django! From a slave to the president?? Even Mandela couldn't beat that kina turnaround! ![]() 2)The terrorists in Olympus were incredibly well organized. The entire takeover was inch perfect. In white house down, it looked way toooooo easy! Like who will watch some dude take a trolley to the center of the hall(in WHITE HOUSE!) without stopping him? No double checks.. Nothing! 3)Also, child heroes is kina old school for me. Took away the 'crisp maturity' you'd naturally expect in such a movie. |
samkoro: Let me tell u my friend, the U.S is aware of all these missiles u mentioned.Right fromm the WW2,the U.S fights wars with newly developed weapons.European countries respect and fear the U.S for this.So all these missile launchers u are glorifying will be nothing but a double barrel den gun as far as this war is concerned.u talk too much! Russian early warning radars picked up the missile launch, as well as the trajectory, and the interceptor. They even confirmed it landed in the Mediterranean.. Dont talk like you've seen Putin from 300 miles before! |
