freedom96: Curbing which corruption? You don't seem to understand that poverizing the civil service goes a long way in paving way for corruption by political appointees. |

seunmsg: The Auditor-General's office is responsible for authorizing payments for federal workers among other functions. The statement issued by Aso Rock is not stating anything remarkable and thus does not warrant making the news. This is typical of this administrations style to deflect attention or critism with silly Rhetrioc of fighting corruption where there is none. The fact remains that without a finance minister, the auditor general requires Buhari's approval to pay salaries. Buhari travelled to Cameroun and only returned late on Thursday. The next day Friday being a Muslim holiday, Buhari never bothered going to work. This is why federal workers including the military are still being owed. All these useless headlines with no meaning is just meant to give the impression that this administration is working behind the scenes when it is very obvious they are not. 1 Like 1 Share |

GudluckIBB: Story. Under the IPPIS platform salaries where paid consistently on or before the 25th. All you are stating is conjecture without base. Let me tell you that the northern cabal who bennefited from federal ghost workers and salary diversions will pressure the dullard to revert back to the old norm. 3 Likes |

Is that why federal civil servants are yet to get paid? Jonathan paid on or before 25th but Buhari has never kept to that date and now salaries are getting deep into the next month before being paid. 27 Likes 1 Share |

Flyoruboy1: Yorubas have been lying since 1000AD. No wonder you are such a gifted bullshiter According to your own source : Believed by many to be the final resting place of the fabled Queen of Sheba, Bilikisu Sungbo is a burial site located deep in the Nigerian rainforest. (Though the monument wasn’t built until about 1,000 years ago, nearly 2,000 years after the Queen of Sheba is thought to have lived.) . How can you claim that is the site of Queen Sheba's grave even though evidence shows the site to have been constructed 2,000 yrs after Sheba's demise? Liars |

gists: In your heart you know that a separate state of Odua is not possible as you know the north will never let you go. Your region will be turned into a province under an Emirate of Arewastan conveniently renamed Oduastan Province. The north will provide the right northern candidate to head your emirate. Enjoy. |
