I have re-read my post and did not see ANYWHERE that l said or used the word SOPHISTICATION!

So, it appears that you are suffering from a "carry-over" disease of some sort.

If Yoruba being more sophisticated is giving you migrane and nightmares, you still have an option because the Yorubas are famed for being magnanimous: GET ADOPTED BY A YORUBA FAMILY..... and end your suffering once and for-all.
grin grin

How can any sane Igbo man get adopted into a yoruba family? lollzzz grin One should be moving forward not backwards.

You want to tell me that you have not heard your yoruba brothers beating their rusty chests all over the place claiming to be sophisticated just becuase Buhari is president? grin grin grin

I don't know why yorubas will never learn, it beats me how they go about beating their chests shouting 'Sophistication' while everything is pointing to the contrary.

Benjamin Adekunle took his hatred for Igbos to another level during the civil war when he went about shooting women and children at the outskirts of Biafra while the hausa/fulani were watching. After using him, they disgraced him out of the army without any benefits such that he was looking for small contracts to feed himself before he died. At some point, his son was begging for donations to be made to take him to just Ghana for treatment. We are not even talking of taking him to the USA, Germany or UK oo, just to ordinary Ghana that we can trek into he could not afford it.

Obafemi Awolowo was also used by the hausa/fulani to wage the war against Igbos were he suggested that Biafran children be starved which lead to the death of so many. Awolowo was hoping that the hausa/fulani would compensate him by supporting him to become president but it only turned out he had been used and dumped. The northerners threw all their support behind their son Shagari and Awolowo was never president. As though this was not enough, Babangida was about to arrest Awolowo(which would have been the second time the northerners would be arresting him if it had happened) and to avoid this disgrace, Awolowo had to commit suicide by drinking poison(I think Ratak). cheesy cheesy

Abiola the yoruba aere onakankanfo thought that he had the north all behind him only for them to cancel his electoral victory and throw him in prison. The hausa/fulani still went ahead to serve him a very special tea which he drank and died. They went a step further by dispatching his wife Kudirat to join him in eternity. cheesy cheesy

This brings us down to Bola Ahmed Tinubu aka BAT- jagajaga borgu. Like FFK said, Buhari is the spirit clearly behind Tinubu's woes. The hausa/fulani are out to destroy Tinubu and reduce him to one of those agberos running around Lagos shouting 'owomida' at the top of their voices. cheesy cheesy cheesy Again, another yoruba leader has been used and is being dumped. grin grin

[s]since last week we have been reading nd hearing of plans to cut tinubu to size nd reduce his influence by the abuja power(northern cabal in conjunction with some yoruba political nitwits).they used there rigging machine to rig in akeredolu in ondo just to humiliate tinubu,in recent time there have being a bad relationship btw buhari nd tinubu after using tinubu to win election.
it seems as if history is gonna repeat itself like d case of mko abiola nd Awolowo,we all know how the north betrayed this two yoruba leaders after using them(Let's be truthful to ourselves).as much as I don't fancy tinubu but right now he his the most powerful nd active politician in s.west
it's time the s.west know that the north don't give a damn bout any region or party all they Care bout is ruling so we should stop caring buhari, pdp or apc on our head nd start protecting our own since that's what Nigeria is about, after all the north are protecting burutai, dambazu or whatever is name his.
it's funny how fayemi that could not even win his local government for himself fashion dat lost his local government. during presidential election
ajimobi dat almost lost oyo state nd amosun dat doesn't av ijebu nd remo support challenge tinubu if not for support from abuja.
I urge all s.west not to in the name of being sophisticated or being liberal let history repeat itself cause all our past alliance with us don't favour us nd d north don't play liberal like we do,that shit don't work in Nigeria.
if we in the name of being liberal let the north get away with this they would forever see us as a docile tribe nd if we let them install fayemi, fasbola, ajimobi nd amosun on us it would be another ilorin in the making cause all this four guys would be doing the will of d northern cabal.
I trust tinubu not to make awolowo mistake cause he his a born politician nd master of tactics,if by ending of this year things continue like this I'll urge him to leave apc to form another party since he still av Lagos nd osun or he should join pdp(no permanent friend or foe in politics nd apc is not a yoruba party neither is pdp an igbo party)if tinubu should join pdp all southern Nigeria should come together to vote a southern candidate to send a message to d north(aw I wish am in tinubu shoes).

pls am not a bigot am only concerned bout my tribe nd I urge every yoruba reading this to read wisely

This is simple arithmetics.

When it comes to politics, the north usually move in block and all they need to get the presidency is just one region from the south. They did it with the SE with Shagari and have done it again with the SW with Buhari so what is so special or sophisticated about you deluded lots?

The Igbo will produce the president in the not too distant future if Nigeria remains, even the northerners know this.

The first Nigerian president was an Igbo man - Nnamdi Azikiwe.

The first military Head of State of Nigeria was an Igbo man - Aguiyi Ironsi aka Ironside.

No amount of hatred or bile from you can change that history.

LAGOS the 5th or 6th largest african economy is enough for the Jagaban, what is in the north that tinubu is looking for? It is the SS and SE that needs tinubu more in 2019 to get enough votes for their pdp vice presidential candidate.
The hausa/fulani have effectively reduced bat to sw politics where he is known.

We don't need tinubu in the SE/SS. SW votes were split in 2015 despite all tinubu did let alone now that the fulani hegemony has clipped his wings.

If Buhari decides to contest in 2019, it might be difficult for a president or VP from the eastern axis. However, an Atiku may be able to pull something really big. Once Atiku can effectively share the north with Buhari, he might get it with block support from the SE/SS.

I don't even understand you. Is the Abuja APC fighting Tinubu to protect the interest of the SS or SE? What concerns the SS and SE in this BTW? this is politics, forces aligns and realigns.

As far as I know, Buhari is very unpopular in SE and SS(though not hated), and being PDP stronghold, Tinubu's ACN bloc that controls SW and Benue state can forge a working partnership to face Buhari's group in 2019.
The truth is that tinubu cannot do much without the support of the SE/SS.

His power ends in SW politics and even there, the APC is raising forces against him. In the north, there is very little tinubu can do to weaken Buhari's influnce.

The truth is that tinubu might be politically finished; he is effectively hemmed in.

He made the SE/SS his enemy and the north don't have time for any yoruba man, all they want is their sai baba.

Tinubu is left with only his lackeys in SW like aresa and others. cheesy cheesy

I have been observing the way things have taken a turn for the worse since Buhari became president and I have the following advise for him if he will listen to move this nation forward:

1. Buhari should apologise for his 5% speech even if he has to do it in a diplomatic way.

2. He should immediately form an inclusive government; bring qualified people from the eastern axis of this country(i.e SS & SE) into the sensitive parts of government including the oil sector and the military.

3. Find a way of releasing Nnamdi kanu even if it is to arrange a prison break.

4. Take a look at the last confab report, there are many wonderful recommendation there. He may not accept all the recommendations but he could at least implement some.

5. He should personally visit the SE/SS and reassure them that we are all Nigerians and can still work together to make this nation great again.

6. He should make sure that there is a very functional seaport in the SS like Apapa in Lagos and create policies to deliberatly drive traffic to that port. This will greatly impact the economy of the region and will help spread development. Nigeria is too big to rely on Apapa for almost everything, things cannot go on like this.

7. A lot of the tension in the land today is because of struggle for power at the center. We can decide to revert to a regional style of government where your Premier is like your president such that the centre would be considerably weakened and unattractive. All this struggle for who becomes president will cease. Alternatively, we can adopt a system of rotaional presidency recognising the six geopolitical zone structure(experts can work on this and come out with something good).

Nigeria can be united and work again if Buhari can be wise.
