iLegendd: M.MM is owned by someone, but Crypto is owned by everyone.
Since it's owned by everyone, it means everyone will run it down (greed) and the same everyone will bring it back up (investment).
When the only road used by everyone gets damaged by everyone, but the government ignores for years, one day, everyone will gather and fix it themselves.
When the road spoils again, everyone will gather and fix or patch it again. It may take 50 years, but they'll surely fix it.
Even though Crypto is for everyone, each token is owned by someone or group of people. When they want everyone to own it, they make it decentralized.
Crypto will always crash, but not like MMM. It will rise again after some years. It's like rainy season and dry season.
Now, in Crypto, it's rainy season. It's a time to harvest for those that planted their crops or money in dry season.
Some people are planting now. When dry season comes, they'll lose some percentage of their money if they don't cash out. This doesn't mean they've lost it forever like for.ex — they just need to be patience till another rainy reason comes. This is why I talked about patience.
No matter the season we are in, there will always be food. Farmers don't care if it's rainy or sunny — there will always be food.
This is to say there will always be money to made in Crypto whether it's rainy season or dry season. When it's crashing, people short it and make money. When it's rising, people long it and make money.
In summary, Crypto has money front and back unlike M.MM.
Yes, talking about individual tokens owned by some scammers, they'll surely crash and the founders will run with your money. This is why it's good to research a coin to know if it has a use case/fundamental and the team behind it is legit.
"How do I find out?" you asked. By doing indept research about the coin. If you can't do research, then it means you're lazy and can't hodl every coin.
In this case, buy only BTC, ETH, Ada, and Dot. (BEAD).
If you can research, you'll have lots of great options. Please what is the difference between Forex trading and Crypto? For example, in Forex, you can make money under a bullish or bearish trends alike by going long or short respectively. Is it so with Crypto too? Please what exactly is the difference between the two? Thanks |

Crime › How I Caught Laptop Thief With A Drone –lagos-based Videographer by PraiseDLord(op): 7:41am On Mar 28, 2021 |
A videographer, Ifeanyi Okezie, aka Kelz, tells TOBI AWORINDE about how his drone piloting skills led to the arrest of an alleged laptop thief Your viral video showing how you used a drone to trail an alleged laptop thief received commendation by Nigerians online. Can you narrate how it all happened? I always have my drone with me everywhere I go. That day, I was on the road with my friend who was driving; we had just returned from a location. On our way, my friend needed to use the toilet and I needed to buy something, so he stopped across the road from a supermarket. He got down and crossed over to a bushy area to relieve himself and I was the only one in the car, waiting in the passenger seat. All my gadgets – laptop, camera, and so on – were in the back seat of the car. Someone, who had been sitting in the back seat, had wound down the window but didn’t remember to wind it back up when getting down and we didn’t notice that the window was still down. My friend had the car key, so when I got down to get something at the supermarket I locked the door. Before we left the car, we noticed this guy that was just standing aimlessly on the road ahead of us. I wasn’t suspicious of anything because he was by himself. After buying the items, I got out of the supermarket and opened the car to drop the stuff I had bought. It was then that I discovered that the laptop was gone while the other gadgets were there. The guy that had been standing in front of us was the only one that came to mind. So, I said what we had to do was find a way to reach out to the police who could help us before the person was out of reach. As my friend was making the call, I decided to fly the drone to look around because it was an expanse where we could easily lose. So, I took the drone up and I had almost 30 minutes of battery power left on it. I started looking around and I didn’t find him. I went in the wrong direction for a long time. Then I went in another direction and I spotted him. When I saw him, I didn’t even know he was the one. I saw someone putting on a blue shirt and my friend was like, ‘Bring the drone down, let’s see it well.’ So, I brought it down. It was about 200 feet high at that time. Looking closely, then I saw that the person was carrying a laptop in his hand. The distance from the place I took off to where he was was far, so there was no way for me to know how to get to him. So, the only thing we could do was to start asking people around, ‘Do you know this street? Do you know this building? Do you know where this is?’ We were using landmarks we could see along his path to trail him. Did he have any inkling that a drone was trailing him? No, he didn’t. While he was walking, my friend was asking people, ‘Do you know this place?’ We started turning to see if we could locate the street. It was really difficult for us to locate it on our own. I lost the signal six or seven times. Eventually, I had a signal and I saw him entering what looked like a kiosk in a slum close to a canal. That was the last place I saw him and then the signal was gone, because it was very far from where we took off. I lost the signal entirely. At that point, I brought the drone down. By the time the drone landed, my friend had already contacted the police. They came around and they asked, ‘How do you know where he is?’ I showed them the footage; they saw it and told us that we should get into their van, saying they would take us and keep asking people for directions along the way. We went to a couple of places and they kept on directing us. The only landmark we had was a gas cylinder by the roadside. So, we kept asking, ‘Where is cooking gas sold in this area?’ People continued giving us directions until we got there. Immediately we got to the canal and where that gas cylinder was, we were able to follow the narrow road to where the suspect was. When we got there, he was coming out of a kiosk and that was how we caught him. Was he still with the laptop as he stepped out? He didn’t have the laptop in his hand, but when the policemen started interrogating him, he said, ‘It’s inside.’ They followed him inside and they brought the laptop out and they arrested him. What was the reaction of the policemen when you told them you were trailing the suspect with a drone? They were surprised. Their reaction was, ‘How were you able to do it? Are you sure he’s the one? We don’t want to go around and waste out time?’ I told them, ‘It’s just technology. It has been there; I know how to fly this thing. That’s all I use’. They were surprised and two of the police officers said, ‘Is it not better for us to learn how to do this thing?’ They were even asking me how I started to fly. I said, ‘It’s easy.’ How long did it take the policemen to arrive after your friend called? They were actually quick, I must say. I even posted on my Instagram Stories, thanking them for being so prompt. They were quick to respond. I don’t know what happened that day, but they were quick. What area did the incident occur? It was after Chevron Drive (Lekki, Lagos State), en route to Ikota Secondary School. What date and at what time of the day did the incident happen? The incident happened on Tuesday, March 16 at about 2pm. I remember because we had something to do that day. What was the time difference between when the suspect must have taken the laptop and when you noticed? It was about 10 minutes. I just went into the supermarket, bought what I wanted to buy and came out. How long have you been using your drone? I’ve been using my drone for two years now. I bought it when I was still working at a radio station, Women Radio, in late 2019. I wanted to use it to tell stories, make travel videos, film clients’ videos, and so on. A lot of my clients were saying they wanted to film estate videos, so I had to get a drone. I got it for that purpose. What do you do for a living? I do a couple of things. First, I am a radio presenter and also a TV host for Passion TV UK. I have worked with a couple of radio stations, but in March 2020, I resigned from my nine-to-five job because I needed my own time to take care of my brand and to push my radio shows and syndicate them on other radio stations as an independent radio host. How much did the drone cost? When I bought it two years ago, it was N400,000. Can you compare your drone with the ones procured by security agencies? I know the Federal Government bought some drones for the military, but those are more expensive (than mine). Those are bigger drones; they can last longer in the air and do all sorts of things that this (my) drone cannot do. If well managed, even (just) one of those (military) drones can solve a lot of problems in Nigeria. But I don’t think they even use them often or know how to use them. They need knowledge on how to use the drones to tackle crimes and insecurity. It’s a problem. My kind of drone is smaller, yet it can do a lot. Do you think your experience can serve as a reference point in efforts to tackle crimes in Nigeria? It would serve as a good reference point for the security agencies. In most of the comments I got, people were saying, ‘So, this is even possible and we are still looking for bandits? We’re still dealing with insecurity in the North and all these things are happening, meanwhile there is technology that can help find one man.’ If this technology can find one person who has committed a crime, it can as well find a lot of people who have committed crimes. We know these things happen and the sad thing is that nothing is being done about it. If the government is to look into security with the use of technology, I think it will go a long way. The people who could be the drivers of this technology are the young people. The old people may not have that passion for technology. Young people can also tackle insecurity in the country. But if they could just look inwards and say, ‘Let’s make it possible. Let’s equip the young people with this technology, let’s get them involved with (security) agencies and let them be part of the agencies to help them tackle insecurity,’ I think these insecurity issues will be a thing of the past. Christianity Etc › Re: 7 Reasons A Christian Should Not Take Alcohol by PraiseDLord: 5:52pm On Jan 24, 2021 |
jesusjnr2020: 7 Reasons Why A Christian Should Not Take Alcohol
1. It is misleading and deceptive.
It has the tendency to make people become vulnerable to sin and to fall into temptations.
Proverbs 20:1 (KJV)
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
2. It is addictive.
It's easy to say "take a little", but many who have become addicted to alcohol today didn't start by taking much. And once one becomes addicted to it, it's hard to come out of it. That's how many found themselves trapped today. So don't start what you can't finish.
Isaiah 5:22 (KJV)
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
3. It impairs people's judgment.
Isaiah 28:7 (KJV)
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
Proverbs 31:4-5 (KJV)
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
4. It's not meant for the consecrated.
In the church or the House of God in the old testament, it was prohibited for the consecrated.
Leviticus 10:8-10 (KJV)
And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
Ezekiel 44:20-21 (KJV)
Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads. Neither shall any priest drink wine, when they enter into the inner court.
If that's anything to go by, then every individual in the church or House of God of the new testament is not supposed to take alcohol, since the church ought to be a gathering of priests.
5. It does more harm than good.
Whatever benefits there were of taking alcohol, health experts advise that it's best to avoid taking alcohol at all, because it does more harm than good to one's health. It's not even a necessity to begin with, which makes it even more avoidable.
6. It's a counterfeit intoxicating spirit to the original which is the Spirit of God.
Luke 1:15 (KJV)
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Ephesians 5:18 (KJV)
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
The above sayings show that they both have a similar function in the respect of intoxication, however alcohol is the counterfeit while the Holy Spirit is the Original. It's actually the lack of the original that makes people go for the counterfeit which is alcohol, but if e no be the Spirit of God, e no fit be like the Spirit of God. Hence the garbage that comes with taking alcohol, because it's the counterfeit and hence of inferior quality when compared to the Original which is the Holy Spirit. That's why the difference was clearly distinguished in those sayings, and the advise not to be drunk with alcohol but with the Spirit of God, because the difference is very clear. Hence every Christian ought to be filled with the Spirit of God and not alcohol. And when one has the Spirit of God, he wouldn't need alcohol for anything, because any good thing alcohol could give to him, the Spirit of God would give him more of it, and even those good things alcohol lacks and cannot give, like the power to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, cure the lepers etc. So why would a Spirit-filled Christian want to get high on the counterfeit, when he's already got the Original in the person of the Holy Spirit?
7. It causes spiritual drowsiness.
It makes people to fall asleep and not watch as Jesus had commanded us to do, and that would be one of the reasons many would not be prepared and miss the rapture or His second coming.
Luke 21:34 (KJV)
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
Matthew 24:48-51 (KJV)
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
So let alcohol not be the reason you miss heaven.
God bless. Well said! May God bless you in Jesus name. Amen |

Righteousness89: You shall Know the truth and the truth will set u Free..
The First truth you should know is that if you kill yourself in any way or Form, you will open your Eyes Live in Hell Fire! And it's forever and Ever.
Secondly, this is the reason I am an advocate that young men and Women seek the Face of God before saying I do. And until you are sure GOD has showed you your Spouse, do not Marry! Marriage is a life time Commitment. Going your way might look sweet at the start but it will always end in Pains!
Thirdly, you Have Married! You Have Married! You are her Husband and she is your wife. There could be Solutions but you need to approach the originator of the institution of Marriage and take Matters to HIM on the basis of His Mercy.
As you Pray you reach out to Elders you know she could listen to.
For those who are about to Enter, Ensure you Hear Clearly about your Spouse. If you didn't Hear! Pls no matter how juicy its looks, do not Enter!
Do not Marry because of He/she has Cash Do not Marry because she has Big behind/Big Before or because He has 12 packs Do not Marry because He/ She is this or that! Do not Marry for Sympathy or Pity!
The Only Reason to Marry Him/ Her should be Because you Have Sort the Face of GOD and HE has given you the Go ahead!
It is Better to Be Single than to Marry who is not the will of GOD for you!
It will always End in Tears!
They that Have Ears to Hear! Let them Hear! Well said! God bless you greatly. This is the simple solution. He that hath an ear, let him hear! |
Family › Re: Please Help Look Into This Family Issue (I'm Loosing My Mind) by PraiseDLord: 3:32am On May 18, 2020 |
Ope88: Please don't read and pass, also Pardon all my typo, I'm typing out of duress.
I am from a family of six, 3 girls, 1 boy including my parents. I had a horrible childhood experience, My Mum (no thanks to her) was something I can't quantify, I can't start writing every of the things she did and I can't say If the religion she practiced contributed largely to the devilish attitude she put up while growing up.
My mum has no good record anywhere, in the church, with the neighbours, with her siblings, we the children, her in laws and even at work, She was always at war with people, if she dreams that someone was trying to attack her in the dream, if she sees the person the following day, she was ready to attack the person.
Also, she would curse her children at any slightest provocation and leave only my brother out(last born and spoilt), She doesn't have any good relationship with her siblings and won't allow my dad visit his family member, I remembered them (Mum and dad) always saying this (don't be unequally yoked together with unbelievers). To them anyone who isn't a Christian (deeper life) is not supposed to be associated with.. My dad on countless occasion will call his mum a witch just because she was a Muslim and one of the oloyes of allasalatu(Muslims will understand this) and had nothing to do with his family members.
This went on and on like this until my elder sister moved out of the house and in the process of trying to find her feet, she got pregnant and my mom practically tormented her life, she later got married to the man, and for that act alone, she's always at logger heads with my sister and her husband..
Later, I got married and then my younger sister followed suit, leaving my dad, herself and my younger brother (whom I have disowned).
Ever since the three of us got happily married, and left the home, my dad slipped into severe depression. Although he has been depressed given lots of things he encountered, job loss, no social interaction, unforgiveness amongst others, it became severe when all his female children left, then from severe depressgion, he started having mental issues, he would wake up and leave the house talking to himself, or start preaching and going out of point with anyone he finds on the street, sometimes he would leave and come home at night, my younger brother who is supposed to comfort and help him, treats him with disdain, my mum who is supposed to check mate his excesses would leave him to his folly and now he has started standing up to her and everyone else in the house..
At 26, he doesn't know his bearing and obviously we have been seeing signs of him wanting to inherit the houses my father built in the same compound.. (and we have noticed that my mum has been making him understand that every of the property belongs to him).
The last straw which broke the camel's back happened one week ago, my elder sister ( who is 9 year older than him) took advantage of the lockdown and visited my father, he is usually exited when we are around him whc helps his severe moodiness. There and then an argument broke out between my sister and my brother, she asked why my brother was insulting our mum for an action that happened in the compound, he beat my sister up and her three children and boasted that, the rest of us (my sister and I) dare not do anything and that by the way we must stop coming to the house, that if he sees any of us He will beat us up, My mum who was supposed to resolve the matter started blaming my sister, asking her why she always love to come visiting, that she's supposed to be in her husband's house or father in laws place and immediately called her hubby to come pick her.
Its been one week my sister left for her house, my daddy who enjoyed her company when she was present started misbehaving again at home. He started roaming, he started cursing everyone.
The reason I'm writing is this, my dad is no where to be found, he left the house yesterday Friday 15th May 2020 and was last seen in ITAMAGA IKORODU, we keep trying his number but he is not picking and now his number is switched off, I'm sure he is still wandering about.
My sisters and I have decided that even when he is found(by God's grace) we do not what him to go back living with my mum and brother.
What other alternatives do we have to care for him, as his own siblings are not happy with him either for abandoning them and their mum (his own mum),, when they needed him the most..
I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.. PLEASE HELP ME.
Modified..... My dad has been found today Sunday, 17th May 2020, my sweet mother (elder sister) found her, she has been on her feet since he went missing, luckily he was found but in a terrible state, I saw him via video calls and I wept, he can't recognize even my sister again, and just muttering some words we don't understand, he closes his eyes while saying this and asked everyone to go and leave him, he looks so faint and weak and would not leave where he his...My sister has called his siblings and she's waiting for the next line of ACTION from them.
I'll keep updating the house with reports from our end.. O.. thank God you've found him. Please provide your contact details either phone number or email let's see how we can help you. |
Family › Re: I Was A Husband: My Experience by PraiseDLord: 1:23pm On May 14, 2020 |
tunmiluabi: My story is quite long, please run through with patience.
I married my wife about 11 years ago. By the way I am 46 years old. Before I married my wife, I was not doing well neither was my wife. She was working with a multinational company, earning an equivalent of N40,000. I had a small graphic design business after trying many times to find a good job. I looked for jobs and contracts without any respite. But At this this time, my wife's support was good and I did appreciate every bit of it. At lest we survived on the low...
As time went on, I got a job in one international corporate training company as a Statistics and Business Analysis Instructor, was earning about 90,000 naira. During the times before I got my job, we had accumulated debt and my new job provided us an opportunity to pay them up.
We decided we were going to save part of her salary every month for servicing the debt and save the rest for a rainy day. I was supposed to pay the rent and all other domestic bills, light, kids school fees etc.. Some time she helped with food/groceries. After sometime, she advised we move to a bigger apartment. We still had a daughter by then. I obliged and we did.
To cut the story short, after four years of working, the company folded up because of government policies and we were all laid off. This meant we had to prepare for the hard life ahead. It was hectic and devastating. Me being me, I took it with all sense of grace and hope things will be fine. But the more I thought about this the worse things got. One day out of curiosity I asked my wife if it would be nice to have another child and she advised it was not the best time. I understood and agreed. I then advised my wife if we could start a business and with some savings we had, maybe I could use it to enhance my former business, maybe things might be better this time. She did not show any interest. This time I discovered changes in my wife.
One day she asked me if she could use part of them money to do a course, honestly I was shocked but asked why she did not oblige to my own request. She said "its my money I can use it for whatever I want". My wife however did the course.
To cut the story short, 3 years down the line, my wife stopped having sex with me and this continued for a long time. I became like "shit in her eyes". I lost a bit of confidence though. she would wake me with insults and barrage of dirty words. Because of our child, I agreed to stay a home and try to work online and seek clients and jobs from old client. It was not bad but not promising.
Fortunately for us, my wife got a promotion and her salary was increased to about 170,000. This actually brought out the worst in my wife. Her calmness disappeared and all decorum was buried. We would quarrel everyday and not talk for weeks. She became really mean and controlled everything at home. Please note, she is not a bad woman but can't explain the reasons up till date. I was with no option but to query her sincerity as a wife and that continued for a long time. Our sex life became zero, she would tell me having sex would make her pregnant and was not ready for a second child. Her stories kept on changing and became even worse, rather than coming home she would pass by her mom and be there till late in the night before coming home.
After about 3 years of trying to get something to do, I finally got a place on the island sometime in February 2018, where I would be paid a stipend of 50,000. In addition, I would use my free time to design, print and sell business cards to small companies. The overall income was small but enough for some immediate obligations at home. But to be fair, that was the best I could get since I have not had money in a long time. Unfortunately my wages were not consistent due to challenges the company was facing. But I used the Business card printing to augment wherever possible.
Later in 2018 around September, I discovered that my wife had been having an illicit engagement. She had a male fried and I finally got to know about it and confronted her. She did not deny it, she begged and I forgave her. Anyway, I had made up my mind to forgive because of the kid and I never told anyone till date. Moreover, since we were not making love that was of course enough reason for the drastic measure, I told myself. To be sincere I had lost feeling for my wife and sex was difficult. We finally started having sex but I had little to offer her. I would pretend and even have to watch Indecency to be able to have sex with her. I was dead inside. At least my wife was still with me. That was my solace. I guess trust was broken. She however continued with her escapades. The quarrels increased and got worse. There and then name calling became our breakfast and dinner. She advised that since I would never look at her the same and bringing little or nothing to the table that I was free to go. The quarrels went on for quite some time, my wife will go very violent on me some of the times. I am marshal artist with black belt and I have great restraint - for me, fighting and going violent on her was never on the table. One day I thought there was a need to move out and I did indicated to her that I was not comfortable living with her anymore.. That wherever I am, I will see how I can take care of the kids.
She did not care and things became difficult for me. I felt maybe I could stay for sometime, It might be a difficult condition but still not impossible. This became my Achilles heels. There and then I knew my relationship had broken and irreparable. I accepted there was nothing I could, but to be patient and tried to convince myself about our situations and believed our situation was bad, but God’s willing we would overcome. The fight even got worse and became very violent and physical, I would normally just take the beating or hold her hands to avoid any injuries.
The quarrels was beginning to be in the glare of my Kids and since it was not abating, there was little I could do to change the situation. I finally made up my mind on the 19th of May 2019 to move out, but actually moved out on the 30th of May, 2019. Before then on the 26th of May, 2019, I discovered my wife was again engaging in the illicit affair. She would claim she was going to church only to be found at a different location. Honestly I can’t blame her, I blame myself and the situation that caused the demise of our once cherished marriage. At this point in time I realised I had lost and had no fight in me anymore. My kids are still very young. Everyday quarrels, lack of sincere engagement, denials upon denials and her fear of facing her “DEMON” with little chance of her understanding the consequence of her actions - I was left with no choice but to stop FIGHTING. I had no fight left in me. The ultimate decision was to leave. I did not inform her parent about the issue because I had indicated to her I did not want them to look at her differently.
God so good, I got a 500,000 Naira job through a friend in an oil company with a 3bedroon in Lekki fully paid up for 3years by the company. By the way, I am Data Analyst but never practiced for a long time. I studied Computer engineering but for a long time grace did not smile on me. I take care of my kid and I really don't hate her and I am at peace with everything. She still has her job and doing well.
Please note that she did not tell me to leave, I left on my own volition. I could not share the same bed with my wife anymore she apparently could not muster enough strength to stop all iniquities for a conversation that will help see things through. Rather she is turning to blame it on me. We have however resolved to part on a friendly note for the sake of our child.
My reason for posting this is because most us sit behind the desk and computers and do not understood the demons everyone is battling. On a bad day, the best husbands are MONSTER, while the best wives are DEVILS. When we make judgment as males or female. We should not forget about our female child/children, same goes for the male child. I don't know what my wife tells people about what happened but I really don't care and I have made up my mind never to defend myself.
Thanks for reading.
Tunmi Brother, please surrender your life to Christ and He will forgive your sins, heal your past, restore your home and give you eternal life. Part of the reasons for giving myself to the Lord earlier in life and marrying a born-again Christian (not a church goer, Pharisee or Sadducee) is that I wanted peace of heart and wouldn't want to imagine a life of adultery by either of us, hence the reason for knowing Christ before knowing or meeting or marrying ourselves. Thus, the fear of God, the love of Christ and the consciousness of the Holy Ghost in our daily lives restraints us from the life of pride, looking down on each other, selfishness, money or material mindedness and amorous relationship outside wedlock because we know a day will come that we'll have to stand before God and answer for the things done in this flesh. Hence, the love of Christ constrained us Please return to your Maker, find a Bible believing church to fellowship with and He will remould your life, & give you an uncommon peace. |
