Do u realize that without an OB, imbalance or FVGs are enough.
You can trade without OB but not without FVG.

Now my question is why would u want to trade an OB that has no liquidity pool or imbalance as uve said? I hope u get my point now

I trade a systematic approach, yes. There are conditions when not met that I do not execute. Example is GU for this month.

I have not taken a trade this month on my account not because there are no setups but because there are no high probability setups in line with the conditions to be met before execution.

This is my trading system. I'm sure many other persons here have made profit this month from their own setups after having met their own conditions. So you see, subjective.

At the end of the month, I will reference my GU and Eurcad call from last month and why I didn't take any of the trades.

if it were a formula then we would only have needed robots to trade for us

I challenge you to open a 10k demo account and trade ONLY your high probability setups for the next two weeks.
Show the house the history before you start and after the 2weeks

omoh na there problem start, I started missing good setups because it didn't look perfect, I missed 3 good setups back to back the one I eventually took I lost the trade,,,, I was just laughing at the whole thing..

yes there is a high prob setup, but if you are only on the lookout for them you will miss the best trades because you will be second guessing yourself

There is no high probability setup for a systematic trader.
Because before taking a trade, all your checklist should be met.
We are the ones gambling while calling it trading

I don't even think this has anything to do with discipline. Let me use football; If you take 10 penalties with your weak foot, the outcome will be different from that of your preferred foot. The question now is; Why not just use your preferred foot in the first place?

Instead of trading every single signal your strategy gives you, why not trade the best setups you can get? This reason, is why traders are encouraged to learn patience.

I assume you have a lot of patience, discipline and confidence from your trades and the way you trade that is why you can say what you do. And its working for you so all is well. If it works for you, then it's fine because who knows, you might be an exception to the rule.

It didn't work for me, it didn't work for others before me, it didn't work for others after me.

Those setups you know after spending much time on the charts have a high chance of playing out. Those types that tempt you to want to go full margin on them because you know it is more likely to be a success than a failure.

The criteria for a high probability trade with my strategy is not likely to be the same for you, it is completely subjective.

All your trades should be high probability then since you are trading a systematic approach and not a subjective one

May God bless all our efforts. After reviewing posts and data I am able to access for all five including @meshpips. I can confidently say guys are really making efforts. And we should not relent, it will eventually pay off.
Four of the applicants are capable but because it's only one slot and as @dottozil mentioned, @officialP just won acct from me as part of those that hit 10%.

So I will nominate @dottozil for the acct. But you both should be mindful of the prop firm rule with another person trading ur acct. I will be in ur dm to give ways I think can help out.

I really don't know how to explain it, aside from the fact that you shouldn't take every trade.

Your strategy only works with the best of your trade setup to give you that risk to reward ratio, if you trade sub par setups because you believe you have a 40-60 win/loss rate... That number automatically dips over time.

It happened to me lots of times, it's a wonder I'm only figuring it out this year.

Every setup has an unlikely outcome.

Thats why there's discipline to know what exactly fits your plan.
If it fits then take it. There's nothing like high probability trade.
