I stumbled upon this thread when I found out I was pregnant and wasn't happy as I thought we were not ready yet. Every day I thank God for ignoring my "want", and giving me my "need".
My elder sister, had fibroids and was told it would be hard for her to conceive. 5 months after her wedding, she had a miscarriage, about a few months later, she conceived. Now she has 3 boys.
Another sister of mine married late. Her biggest fear was that "if it would take her this long to get married, it would take long to have a child". Unknown to her, she was already pregnant during her wedding.
My 3rd sister had been ttcing for almost 2 years. Then she moved abroad, and about a 2 months later announced she was pregnant. She had issues with the pregnancy and the baby was born prematurely via CS at 32weeks. We know if she was still in Nigeria may not have survived. My nephew is a strong gorgeous young man.
If there is one thing I know it's the will of God is always the best for us. I pray that our Almighty God will visit you and grant you your heart desires. AMEN!!!!!

This journey just made me conscious of pregnant women no matter where i keep my face i must see a pregnant woman very funny then i also learnt something this attitude of asking someone wetin u still dey wait and also this baby don reach to have brother/sister is total rubbish! you dont know what dis person is going thru! Before i married i use to ask a neighbor of mine that but the day i went to play but her little daughter i found drugs like Manix and addyzoa in a transparent nylon bag in her parlour then i knew what they were going thru i felt bad for ever asking her that.Secondly my friend in UK i normally worry her wetin you dey wait na why not give birth now and forget about it then you just concentrate and take care of your kids now i am married she just confided in me last month that the husband has not kpekused her for 2yrs and some months and i was like WHAT! i just closed my mouth.We really dont know what people are going thru na just cloth cover us. Now she is the one threatening me with words like i hope something has started cooking in that oven now i dodge chatting with her on facebook and whatsapp. i dread that word because it makes me tense. God lives i know it wont be long and it will manifest.

The good side is it made me conscious of my health and made me realize that my BMI is very high 38 to be precise which is not healthy and i have started shedding weight and more conscious of what i eat. i have also started getting closer to God. The funniest part is i hate kpekus i can stay for 3 years i wont even think about it i am praying to start having that feeling and guess what God gave me a DH that likes it so cos of getting preggers i have to learn to like it and i constantly put it in prayers for God to help me like it cos of DH. Now i am even ready to experiment different kpekus style.It also made me conscious of my femininity i am a serious Tomboy there is nothing or risk a man can do or take that i cant do.i am also conscious of seeing EWCM and being wet too. in fact i see myself now more as a woman.

Thanks to Fvine and Sugah i have stopped taking the vit B6 and also thinking of stopping omega 369 for now till i see AF. Today makes it 7days that i have not seen it i dont normally miss my Af but funny enough i am calm its just that i want to get it over with HSG.

wow 4realwoman i am so sorry to hear about your experience from the herbs of the Akure woman. Funny enough i wanted to patronise her but i was afraid of DH because he told me in clear terms that i shouldnt do anything or take anything for the fibroid. He took the results to be analized by gynacologists and they told him it wont stop conception but i wanted to secretly patronise her but the day she called me i and DH was in a heated quarrel infact i was even saying oya come and collect your dowry back no be small thing but the lord took control. i sent her a text later and even called her but she never replied i concluded maybe God didnt want me to try her so i forgot about it. My advice to you will be if the fibroid is a threat to conception pray about it and go for surgery the lord will take care of you but if not leave it.

at Zaynie i think i go with mamakendras suggestion why dont you jokingly ask your sisters how they feel and pls dont mention DH. Yes your husband is right they might feel bad and ask themselves no be this our small sis wey we carry na she don get kids? But still dont deny them the love, joy and company that the kids will bring into their life the feeling is priceless. Your kids can also be a point of contact for them having their own kids too.

What I did differently:
1. I took my mind of ttc slightly (cuz it was almost impossible to do)
2. I went to RCCG CAMP in September last year and when women worship in my church,last year too
3. I took the word of God in my church very very criously at d beginning of the year
4. I went for every program I could squeeze out time for
5. I gave my widows mite at d beginning of d year for frit fulness seed
6. No I av never done tubal flushing ( I heard the pain is crazy and my pain threshold is very low)
7. I did small fasting in d beginning of the year with RCCG but later stopped
8. The particular baby dance I felt God used, we kpekused on d floor in the sitting room and I raised my leg on d sit for 30mins plus-not sure if nah dat day e enter share
9. Ultimately I surrendered all my doctors report,my unfaithfulness to God cuz I was tired of use dis,use dat,do tvs,do hormonal profile,go for tubal flushing, try monitoring ur eggs,flucolometry,iui,IVF and all the long options and advise available in the TTC journey
Ultimately I'll say I did almost nothing and it was just God's tym and My turn this year(Ezekiel21:32) and I pray that very soon all the pain we have gone thru and still going thru, sacrifices made, may God grant us all our BFP very very soon IJN, Amen.

I was sent to Crestview radiology Victoria Island for confirmation and it was same diagnosis. I was told I'll do several tests, do evacuation, send for pathology, screen for cancer, avoid pregnancy for 18 months! After all these years...After emptying my account to save this pregnancy.. I must confess, I'm tired. I feel like jumping into a well! I don't think I want to continue being married. Life is too cruel.

Clomid mamas may the lord give you double for your trouble.i remember when i took it infact i was having serious hot flashes.serious vaginal dryness, no libido,mood swings,headache,running temperature and all bad reaction you can think off but on the positive side i took in and my mum told me i was preggers i never believed i used pg test strip and it was negative i told mum and she said i should exercise patience. i took another poas still negative visited a clinic and instantly doctor collected 25,000 from me and said something else which i felt was fibroid took drugs and it pushed it out . if i had known i would have seeked a second opinion.impatience my undoing. i wish to hear good news from all you mamas!

Yes some Mamas do have acidic CM which is hostile to sp.er.m and more especially Male Y Sp.er.m. Instead of doing this baking soda douche, it's more advisable to do Baking Soda Finger. This is because the douche water can actually was off EWCM you might have. Wash your hands well and dry. Wet the tip of your finger, dip in Baking Soad (Bicarbonate of Soda) and then insert finger into Veejay and remove. Voila! Your CM will begin to change PH and become very alkaline and healthy for Spe.rm. It also increases EWCM. Do this 30mins to 1hour before BD as that is when the highest alkalinity is achieved. Pls note that Baking Soda is different from Baking Powder. Also take it easy while inserting so that you don't touch your Cervix and get a burning sensation. They say Baking Soda sways boy. Yours truly here has been trying to drink Baking Soda water and doing Baking Soda Finger when she remembers. Learnt when I started ttc and was hell bent on Gender Swaying to conceive boy. That's before I realized that getting pregnant is not as easy as it seems.
