It all seems to be on track. Your Prolactin seems to be on the high side of normal. As a precaution and for good measures to avoid it rising and possibly tipping over, I'll suggest you eat Cabbage regularly.

Abeg what's the fees in Sonex like? Registration Fee? Hormonal Test , Scan, etc. I just want to guage affordability for a friend. Also whats your perception of the Dr and the hospital generally? TIA.

thanks for torchlighting my result i knew something little still needed to be done i will try the cabbage stuff but can i make smoothies out of it?

Registration fees at sonnex is 2,000 for individual and 4,000 for family card, 12,000 for hormonal test, 3,000 for scan . the hospital is affordable for any TTC woman. The doctor is always at your service, nice, friendly and ready to lecture and answer your questions. The hospital is ok to the best of my knowledge.

Before seeing the doc i already bought puritans pride omega 3,6 and 9, braggs acv, counting vitamin b6 and vit c 100mg. but doc said i dont need it but after convincing him that it is healthy taking these stuffs and i have read about them. he told me he is against self medicating and told me to take it but i shouldnt buy more that they are just supplements but for the b6 i am not taking it cos am on natural progresterone injection. there is something i do notice my periods do come 2 days earlier and i am now on a 26 days cycle.i am supposed to see my period on the 26 today but no sign at all ,i hope it comes will watch till end of today i dont want to sound too alarmed yet. i have never missed my period before except when i took in and after some days it came out as blood. right now been away from DH for 2 months.

Good day mamas so i went to Sonex hospital to do Hsg but was advised to check for infection first after much persuation i decided to. i ran all the test hiv, hepatitis, veneral disease and infection all came out negative but i tested positive for infection and i got it treated. it was day 4 so i decided to do homonal profile.this is the result and i have been placed on 200mg of natural progresterone for one month 3 days apart totalling 10 days of injection to shore up my progresterone and also correct the short luteal phase. we just talked about the low progresterone and short luteal phase, mama any other input abt the result pls.

Sabi Mama's, I dey greet una . Make una no pass this my post oo. Toh, the time has finally come. God has open the doors finally made a way for us, so I am going in for the surgery (myomectomy).
I beseech you all to pray for the success of the surgery next week by the grace of God. Again I know God will see me through. He has been a faithful God and will always be.
Well, I don't know how my in-laws will react if they hear that I have fibroid's (I don cry tire for this fibroid matter). If only it wasn't calcified I wouldn't have even gone for the surgery.
However, hubby has told me not to worry and that he won't tell his parents/relatives that its fibroid. My gynae too, promised me that he won't tell them its fibroid cos he knows what women go through once the in-laws discovered that the problem is from the woman (chai, may God help us). With my history of multiple surgeries I wonder what they will tell me if they hear about this again. Even before our wedding, some people adviced my hubby to leave me cos of the surgeries I had and they insinuate that I may have difficulty conceiving. He never listened and never told me, until I jokingly asked him if he was ever adviced to leave me. I am extremely fragile and wouldn't want to go through trauma again.

enatasha the surgery will be a success in Jesus name and after it na your Lo dey come oooo

Hello!

New here. First post.

Just found out my Fallopian tubes are blocked at the frimbea ends. Haven't seen my doctor yet. Been looking at my X-rays...wondering if the HSG was done properly... It is well.

I just want to ask the house if anyone was able to unblock their tubes using herbs or Serra.

Thanks

@Rose23 you are welcome even with the negative report i still wish you a very short stay here do not be afraid our God is still on the throne.

Try and see your doctor and hear what he has to say and read up old posts on this forum the truth is there will always be a solution. Goodluck wishing you double for your trouble.

@Praiseworks, babes these your inlaws pass becareful oo as other mamas have said deal with them from afar then. So u mean after leaving u outside and sick they wanted you to cook that same day shocked with a sore on ur hand? them no try, I thought u were sighting different instances, maybe I am mixing it up

You cannot come and go and die, it's your happiness and that of DH that matters even as wonderful as my inlaws are, everyone stays on their lane, at least now you know how to deal with them and ur DH gat your back, so no worries.

Different scenarios during traditional /dowry payment i was sick and when we finally left for their (my inlaws) place i was left outside, then xmas time i had that big wound on my hand i wasnt supposed to travel but Dh said i should travel if not he will be lonely. so i had to travel.

yes ooooo gracias

I imagine if someone comes to shout or point fingers at me for no reason, infact even with a reason sef, if I don't bite the finger ehn na small e go remain how u even see me self, u go check ursef before u try that with me.

@Delor the lord is our strength on this journey of marriage you have gone a long way and the lord will continue going with you we the newbies na lebechi (looking unto God)we dey i have thought of divorce just to run away from them but DH asked me a question he said why are you matured? cant you handle them if you can handle your crazy workers you can handle them . In DHs word he said because they have seen that he married someone who they cant control so they want to shakara me first but that i should handle them with care and they will change. so help me God.

Thanks Ayauche for the wonderful advice God bless you!
Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by praiseworks: 4:28pm On Apr 22, 2016
Towerofgrace your reply brought me out but me also tell you that i never set out on this journey of marriage to hate or have issues with my inlaws.
i can see you are lucky with the kind of inlaws u have then be grateful to God and cherish the relationship you dont know what women are going thru with bad inlaws.

i want to remind you that the decision to stay behind was that of my DH i never suggested that.
Are you saying the day you got married and you got to your inlaws house you just entered the kitchen to cook? Also if you have read my writeup i travelled with a big wound on my right hand even my MIL was aware i dnt want to mention the kind of wound inorder not to give myself out. and ofcourse when u are newly married if you are welcomed into the family you must definitely know. i am my mums Ada and an only daughter i am well trained.

I dont do eye servive and will never do eye service also i am not yoruba but an igbo lady. DH warned me before meeting his people that i should never start what i can not finish and i should always be myself.

i can only make myself relevant when i am accepted.i am just 6months into this union i never met my inlaws except the mum when she was sick and DH brought her home and asked me to come and take care of her and also bond with her then we werent married. we bonded well infact she was the one telling me about DH and how to handle him i was so happy she was going to be my MIL. We became so close and spoke on the phone alot.only for me to allow their last born stay with us and he became SILS informant and it was DH who found all these out i never knew this is a boy i was so free with to stab me in the back. His sisters convinced their mum about me that i was only pretending. My DH was not happy with his brother that his lies spoilt the relationship between me and MIL.

Thank God you believe there are terrible people you cant please.

Towerofgrace what do u make of this came back with loaves of bread quarter carton of juice i dozen of biscuits for the kids at home and when leaving the villa i shared money round only for me to leave and they called Dh that i came back empty handed? My DH knows me that i am a giver irrespective of tribe unless i dont have and i can never do that.

Their problem now is that DH never believes their lies so the latest complain is that i dont call often why should i? i will call but not often.

You are lucky with ur inlaws be grateful to God. Thanks

@ Praiseworks: I sympathise with you on what you are going through with your inlaws! The good news is that your DH is by your side defending which is a very good thing. I have realised that in most families where the MIL is uneducated, lacks exposure and fear of God this kind of friction, fault finding and picking unnecessary fights with their DIL is always prevalent!
Truth is, you have different background/upbringing from them and no matter how hard you try if someone has mischievous agenda towards you nothing you do will please them. I guess you are Igbo(i am too but married to Edo). For now, try as much as possible to keep to yourself. Call occasionally to greet MIL and put it on speaker especially when DH is around no unnecessary banters. Leave some form of mystery and let them keep guessing as I've realised too much familiarity breeds insult. You are only preserving yourself and loving them from afar it doesn't mean you hate them. Silence is also golden as it cannot be misquoted. Reduce or even don't travel to the village unless when it's absolutely required, if you can avoid it for now. Also commit her in serious prayers that God should turn your rship with her like Ruth/Naomi.
My major concern would have been your hubby if he wasn't protecting you but in this case he does. You also need to have a heart to heart talk to with him to understand that you need all the positive energy while ATCing. If avoiding village visits, August meeting, generally things that bring up the drama by all means do!
As per your SIL, she will get a MIL like her mum when she marries that's if she hasnt!
My mum tried being over bearing on my SIL and I warned her sternly to desist and get off her case. Little did I know that shortly I got married, my MIL wanted to show herself and hubby immediately called her to order to NEVER question me or anything of that nature. Today, we re all good and she keeps praying for me.
So my dear cheer up and know you re in that family for a purpose which God himself will fulfil.
I wish you and all my sisters on this thread our big fat positive pregnancy/safe delivery/mother alive/baby alive! In Jesus name!
Amen.

my sister God bless you u have said it all, yes i am igbo i will definetely try my best.God bless you

@praiseworks, I'm not much of a good advisor cos I rily don't know how to arange words. but why don't u focus on ur dh? do not take to heart what ur inlaws are doing. focus on loving ur dh more. learn to tolerate ur inlaws. mariage is actually not easy esp during d first few years o, don't allow ur inlaws to Mk it more stressful. focus on getting ur bfp, gt busy or a job if u don't hv. wish u all d best swetie. all is well

@ praiseworks, it is well. May God give you the wisdom to handle all the issues that might come up from your extended family, Amen. The good thing is you now know them and their character so you can know what and how to carry yourself and how to tackle each one. Stop regretting marrying into the family, it will only make you sad and even depressed. Your husband loves you and the feeling is mutual. That's the major thing that matters. Try to mix up with them when you get to villa, don't always let your dh fight your battles, it can be counter productive and intensify their I'll feelings towards you. They'll just begin to see you as a woman taking away their brother and turning him against them. But in all, forgive them for they no not what they're doing. Lol @ Achana and Saloni. No you're not them but you're a virtuous wise woman and there lies your strength. God Bless.

thank you Fvine and yes i now know them and also praying to God to give me the wisdom on how to follow them it is really making me sad expecially when DH has to call me to ask abt certain things they told him that never happened.you can only mix up with people that gives you face not someone that sees u and pretend she didnt see you. the only thing that DH told me was i should just be at peace with them that they are behaving this way because they saw me and knew that i cant be pushed around that the lady he wanted to marry before couldnt even face their last born. The lord is my strenght.

Ori nwa in Igbo means Fibroids. Don't know if that's what you mean. Sorry that you're having repeated miscarriages, how many Drs have you seen and what are the things they checked? Common causes of miscarriage are low progesterone, abnormal chromosome formation, infection, Fibroids then there's o course the unexplained one. Take care.

sorry @fvine ori nwa is not fibroid its almost unexplained but its known to the native mamas alone, the ijaw massager that massaged me said its in the tummy and it eats children thereby causing miscarriages expecially those miscarriages that defies orthodox treatment and cant be explained was told sugar helps it too, for me i was given a very bitter herbs to take just in case its there. A mama here as known as mypeace mama Nanichukwu had to go to her village to get hers sorted out.you can check her post. other mamas too can help in ths regard.
